We have decided to start an IEA Dressage Team here at Rosewood! We will be looking for riders for both the Middle School Division: Grades 4–8 and the Upper School (High School) Division: Grades 9–12

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) is a national organization that provides middle and high school students with the opportunity to compete in equestrian sports without needing to own a horse. Riders compete in Hunt Seat, Western, and Dressage disciplines at local, regional, and national levels. Horses are provided by the competition hosts, and riders are assigned mounts randomly, emphasizing horsemanship and adaptability.

Hi everyone!
In an effort to give myself a little bit of a normal life and place to chat with friends around non business things I will try to eliminate a lot of my business chatter out of my personal fb messenger. Of course quick things, like throwing on a blanket or what not can definitely be done between us in messenger. I will be sending out an email to all clients notifying them that I will be using email to discuss training plans, lesson schedules and accounts as well as notifications (ie vacations, etc).

Thank you for your understanding as I try to give myself a little break and allow myself to make some boundaries.

I had the joy of working with a friends horse, Marco, on his first outing to the beach! While nervous, he was attentive and respectful. By the end of our session he was happily playing in the water. Enjoy some of our photos from the session!

The Olympics, a lifelong dream. (Well, it was to be RIDING in the Olympics but watching is cool too.) I am on the trip of a lifetime with one of my longest and dearest friends. Seriously, who else would travel half way around the globe to go to a horse show with me?!?

We arrived in Paris today and will be making several tourist stops in between watching the equestrian sports (specifically Grand Prix Special, Grand Prix Freestyle and a qualifying round of jumping).

Please be patient as I am actually taking a break from the farm this week to relax and recharge!

Princess is not only the CUTEST pony you have ever seen but she is safe, sane and fancy. Fancy movement that can be successful in an array of arenas.

Princess has a show record in childrens hunters and would also be competitive in the dressage arena. She is easy off the aids and soft in your hand. Has been ridden by advanced beginners and used in camp and lessons. Will stand for hours to be groomed and loved on.
