This past week North Carolina had record low temperatures bringing with it snow and ice. But as everyone knows, work does not stop in a barn no matter the temperatures. This meant that our staff had to really pay attention to how they dressed for the week.

The son of WGC CH Our Charming Lady(BHF), RWC Sedgefield’s Legacy ("Luke"), is proving that the athleticism and quality that she posseses will carry on and continue for generations to come. With Sedgefield's Legacy standing at stud and many of Grace's daughters becoming mothers themselves, the heritage bloodlines of WGC CH Our Charming Lady (BHF) will continue to write new chapters in her life story.

WGC CH Our Charming Lady (BHF)
Once in a lifetime, if you are lucky, a horse comes along that is so special it changes history. For High Caliber Stables and Jack & Donna Finch, that horse was WGC CH Our Charming Lady (BHF), affectionately known as Grace.

Outside of the many World and National titles Grace won, the following is a list of her accomplishments and honors:

UPHA Overall 3 Gaited Horse of the Year 2007, 2008, 2009
ASHBA Horse of the Year 2009
USEF Horse of Honor 2009
Broodmare Hall of Fame Inductee 2018

Not only did she have an amazing show ring career, she has laid the foundation for her legacy to be a permanent part of the American Saddlebred breed itself. She has 23 registered foals, and continues to grow her number of grandchildren.
