We are saddened to announce the passing of our colleague and friend, Shelly Stansbury, following her brief battle with cancer. Shelly was known for her infectious laughter, positive outlook, and kindness—qualities that will be deeply missed. We ask that you keep her family in your thoughts during this challenging time.

Memorial donations can be made to Duke Hospital, Beacon Place (Hospice) in Greensboro, or any animal rescue organization of your choice.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kristy Greene to our veterinary team! 👋🏻

Dr. Greene was born and raised in Alabama, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Zoology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. She bleeds orange and blue and is a die-hard Auburn Tiger. While at Auburn, she volunteered at the Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center, where she worked in both the education and rehabilitation of birds of prey. This enabled her to work with the eagle mascot that flies around the football stadium during the pre-game show!

Dr. Greene enjoys the eclectic nature of veterinary medicine and is proud to practice gentle handling and fear-free methods. Her dedication to providing top-notch care and her enthusiastic spirit are invaluable additions to our team.
