Tamra Dick is certainly the type of person you want taking care of your furry family members. She has been working in and out of the veterinary medicine field for about 12 years at Battleground Veterinary Hospital and North Elm Animal Hospital.

In times where she was not working at the veterinary offices, she has worked with several rescue groups since 1993 located in and around Greensboro; a few of these rescue groups include the SPCA of the Triad, Animal Rescue and Foster, Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation in Winston-Salem and Almost Home Dachshund Rescue Society located in Greensboro. Tamra helped the SPCA of the Triad establish a spay/neuter clinic before it became their current adoption center residing on land donated by her father-in-law. Throughout her years in rescue work, her and her husband have placed over hundreds of dogs into safe and loving homes. Tamra became the new owner of Dirty Dogs Self Service Dog Wash and Grooming in August of 2017. She has such a passion for animals that when the opportunity knocked to continue the dog washing business she just could not pass. Dirty Dogs offers a self serve DIY dog wash for twenty dollars. Clients can come in and wash their dirty dog with all the following amenities: shampoo, conditioner, towels, forced air dryers, brushes, toothbrushes, ear wipes and fragrance. Then you walk out the door and her staff cleans up the mess! Dirty Dogs also offers a Premium Wash service where staff will wash for you. Most people will use this service when they are strapped for time or they just want a professional to do it for them. The prices for a Premium Wash will vary depending on the weight of your dog. Dirty Dogs also offers grooming services for when your furry family member needs a haircut, with Heather Richardson by appointment only. You do not need an appointment for any self serve or premium wash services, walk-in are welcome. Tamra and her staff believe in the comfort of the pet and will never rush through any services offered. They are always eager to assist clientele with any and all matters regarding bathing, skin and coat care, and general questions regarding our furry friends health and care. She and her staff feel like every furry client is a member of her own family and will treat them as such. They enjoy interacting with all breeds and their families to nurture and get your dog sparkling clean!
