We need some help! We are staying busy and could use a certified badass to work 20-25 hrs per week for our mid-day shift (roughly 10-4ish) on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

Don’t give a s**t about fancy resumes and fluffy LinkedIn profiles. Looking for someone that works well with dogs, helps out their fellow team members, prioritizes safety and shows up for work.

This job requires you to be on your feet and moving 👏 👏 👏

Should also mention it is a lot of fun so grouchies need not apply.

Sexy Dexy is still feeling good so we want to throw his retirement party 🎉 early!

Dex will be co-hosting what COULD be his final Leash Connections on Saturday, Nov 9 from 12-2 pm.

The class is $10 and all proceeds go to Western NC relief fund.

The FINAL Come Pet Dex event will immediately follow 2-4 pm and is free to attend. However, we are encouraging a small donation to continue helping my mountain folk.

Although a formidable hunter, the White Jaguar is not above scavenging a meal…

Dexy is doing well! He is eating enthusiastically and getting daily exercise. Just making sure he is taking plenty of breaks.

We are so appreciative of all the love and support but aren’t the least bit surprised.

We’ll be throwing a retirement party for Dexy on Saturday, Nov 9th if he’s feeling up to it. Details to come, just wanted to update y’all.

Still reflecting from a special weekend. Proud to host such dedicated owners and a trainer in that I gained a lot of respect for after watching them in their element.

The group said a lot of kind things about our training space, our community and Dexy…and it all filled me with joy.

We will be hosting our own workshop this fall and I’m already excited for the opportunity.

Which one is your favorite and why is it all of them?

Dexter is kind and gentle, but I love that he has so much depth to him. Dexy sets boundaries, communicates clearly and advocates for his own well being.

We had a beautiful long weekend camping and exploring. On these trips, I make it a point to not say a single word to him for a full day so we can communicate on the same level.

It’s peaceful...rejuvenating. I look forward to our next silent conversation.
