No matter how old, they all would love a person or family of their very own. Visit a shelter or rescue near you and consider a Senior pet. You would be surprised at what age a pet is considered a Senior there are still a lot of years of love and companionship left to share.

A dog is considered a senior when they reach a certain age, depending on their breed and size.

Small breeds: Around 10–12 years old
Medium breeds: Around 8–9 years old
Large and giant breeds: Around 6–7 years old

A cat is considered senior when they are between 11 and 14 years old
