National Day of the Horse
Celebrated on December 13, this day recognizes the contributions of horses to the United States' history, economy, and character. The US Senate established this day in 2004. Some ways to celebrate include learning about horse history, reading books, watching documentaries, and using on social media. Ppppp

First snow of the season bundled the boys up and sent them out to play. The goats Mario and Luigi are not so impressed they are tucked in their stall and are not interested in playing in the snow today.

No matter how old, they all would love a person or family of their very own. Visit a shelter or rescue near you and consider a Senior pet. You would be surprised at what age a pet is considered a Senior there are still a lot of years of love and companionship left to share.

A dog is considered a senior when they reach a certain age, depending on their breed and size.

Small breeds: Around 10–12 years old
Medium breeds: Around 8–9 years old
Large and giant breeds: Around 6–7 years old

A cat is considered senior when they are between 11 and 14 years old
