Here is some information about the "mystery disease" affecting some dogs. Make sure you always protect your companion from different diseases by insuring their immune system is strong. I personally use a daily vitamin that has worked out great for many years, I keep the toxic load to a minimum and avoid taxing their immune system with unnecessary vaccines. Nov 1st marks the anniversary of the love of my life's passing. There isn't 1 day that I don't think of him and I still miss him and cry every time I think of him. What an honor to have been loved and owned by such a beautiful maltese. FRANZ my love you will always live in my heart and memory.

I apologize in advance. I rarely make a post like this but I have just had to deal with a rude comment thar really bothered me. I am going to address Maltese prices. The general going price for Maltese from reputable breeders is somewhere between $3500 to maybe $6000. Prices vary by breeder and by coast. A dog is an investment. You are investing in your happiness and committing to caring for a life, so to me it is well worth every penny. I do understand it is a large amount of money and not everyone can afford it. Having said that, there are costs associated to bringing a litter into the world and raising them for 3 months to ensure they are healthy and ready for their new home. A good breeder's time, history, reputation and knowledge is valuable.
