We are experienced dog training company that offers variety of group training classes, as well as one on one training opportunities. Youngwood Top Dog Services is a dog training company with over 60 years of professional dog training experience. We offer an elite therapy dog school as well as a service dog program. We offer 1-1 training at your home or at a private room at our training facility. W

e offer Drop off Appointments where you drop your dog with a Top Dog trainer and let us apply the training needed most. We offer group classes at two separate locations including: Puppy classes, Group level 1 class, Advanced Level 2, Advanced Level 3, Outdoor Recall, Trail classes, , Intro Agility, Therapy dog preparation school, canine good citizen classes, AKC star puppy, Advanced Walking with Distractions, Nose Work, Felon Search, Search & Rescue, Tools class, Loose Leash Class, and many more! Training Prices start at $100 per session for local clients for private appointments.

Here’s another photo drop of some of our Top Dog Drop off Appointments! These pups have all been working with us for various reasons such as leash work, socialization, desensitization, marker training, engagement/disengage training, proper greetings with people in public, and more!! We charge $60 per half hour or $100 per hour. We also assigned homework each lesson as well as your dogs will not change from one appointment, but their behavior will begin to modify and with your consistency, you can have your dog on a new and better proper training path immediately!! Nose work classes provide a multitude of benefits for dogs, including significant mental stimulation, confidence building, improved focus, strengthened bond with the handler, physical exercise, and can be particularly beneficial for dogs with anxiety or reactivity issues as it allows them to engage their natural sense of smell in a controlled environment; essentially giving them a "job" to do while learning to problem solve and tune out distractions.

Our Saturday Youth Class was in their second week of class and they had the pleasure of Logan Gilkey from Dapper Dogs Mobile Grooming leading this class today! There was much to learn from cleaning the dogs and eyes to trimming their nails and brushing their fur properly. This was a tremendous learning experience thanks so much Dapper Dogs Mobile ! 🐕‍🦺🐾🐕💙🪮

Top Dog continues supporting our veterans and VA Hospitals 🏥 staff with our commitment to training Mercy the Oakland VA campus dog. We also oversee all VA therapy dog training operations! We are excited to continue this program and to expand this program to other VA hospitals in the near future!

VetPets of SWPA continues their commitment to this program by supporting Mercy and her financial needs for the VA hospital.

There’s still time to join our introduction to Nose Work Classes that starts next week on the 27th at 6 PM!! This five week course will challenge your dog to use their nose to indicate on a scent. Give your dog a new job and a new working purpose with this exciting class! There are no prerequisites for this class. Your dog just needs to be high energy and have a working drive for food or toys.

Our introduction to agility class continues to go fantastic. The pups and parents continue to not only have fun, but to show improvements on their trial runs each and every week! Our most recent rescue visit was with the staff at Heal Animal Rescue. We covered different aspects of training and operations between our teams. It was week, three of our current classes, phase, one therapy training phase this weekend, and each, and every team has been working hard to embrace all of the proper training and safety protocols and operation of our team. It’s amazing to watch these dogs change, learn, and grow this much and just a few short weeks! We can’t wait to see where they are going to be in just a few months!! Great job to all the pups and parents keep up the wonderful job!! Youngwood Top Dog Services is a full Pet Service company. Whether you need to have your Pets Trained, Walked, or if they just need a playmate & love this is your company! We walk and train in ALL weather conditions! We offer pick up & drop off's. Training courses include : Leash Biting, Door Darting, Puppy Training, Basic Obedience, Advanced Group Class Indoor, Advanced Group Class Outdoor, Socialization Group Trail Walk Class, and our Therapy Dog training and Certification Programs. Other Services include Administering Medications Short term and long term pet sitting. Please contact me with any questions or requests.
