Why would a professional cat breeder promote this? Well, one of the main reasons why there are so many cats in shelters is because of irresponsible backyard breeders. I get countless calls throughout the holiday months saying they want to buy a kitten for their loved one. And it’s a beautiful thing don’t get me wrong but thankfully my program doesn’t work like that. I have committed families lined up well before conception. Why? Because I take life very seriously, and the lives of these animals that are in shelters have been disregarded because they’ve been mass produced and this should never be tolerated. So although I promote you to go to a reputable breeder such as I , I also beg you to get to that shelter and adopt a brother or a sister. It brings tears to my eyes that there are so many cats that need a home in shelters. I take great pride in preserving the lineage of Maine C***s but please help the unwanted and bring them home for the holidays 🐾🎄🐾
