So we were actually wrong about the morph of the mom. She wasn't butter mystic she was pastel mystic. Needless to say, we are still stoked about what turned out. Praise God! We got some pretty awesome babies!

It's always a good feeling when our snakes eat. Even though we know ball pythons eat when they want what they want and how they want. Sometimes, it does stress us out and gets a little frustrating, not that the snakes care they do what they are going to do regardless. Just as long as they stay healthy!

The cool thing about Lampropeltis mexicana thayeri, currently known as lampropeltis leonis, or Nuevo León kingsnake, variable kingsnake, or Thayer's kingsnake, is that you can get all different morphs no matter what the combination is. Didn't think this one was going to make it! Was undersized and looked so scrawny. Had the umbilical cord stuck to it. Now it's eating great and has doubled in size. The color on this Hypo Florida King is beautiful! I thank God for the opportunity to see that even when we think it can't be done, he shows us it can!
