365 days. 546 new families served.

I can’t believe it’s been one year since we bought Lindley’s Kennel and moved our “headquarters” to Piedmont.

I counted our new client forms this morning and couldn’t believe we’ve served 546 new families this year for boarding, grooming, and training.

One thing I wasn’t expecting was the burden we’d be able to bear for people so they could fully invest in life’s most important moments.

We’ve had dogs stay with us so their families could attend graduations and weddings and vacations. But we’ve had just as many families drop off their dogs to bury loved ones or travel out of town for medical procedures.

It’s an honor to be able to provide care and comfort for people’s pets so they can enjoy special moments with their loved ones.

This old girl turns 13 this week.

Ruby is the reason Jade and I started hanging out in college. She’s the inspiration for our brand name. She’s my daughter’s sleeping buddy and best friend.

Time is catching up to her quick. Her hearing has faded and her joints are getting a little stiff.

But she still knows when the clock strikes 4 if she hasn’t had dinner yet! And she will let you know too.

I’ve always said these dogs have taught me way more than I have taught them- about life, leadership, and faith.

Of all that we do, the highlight for me is using my dogs as a tool to reach the next generation.
