Forgive me, Mommy😢🐾
I was there where you left me for two whole days. Sleeping right on the side of the road. I was terrified of the noise from the cars but I did not move.
Last night one of those cars stopped and she got out. She invited me to lunch but I said no. She invited me to come sleep at her house and I also said no. I tried to explain to her that I was waiting for you but she wouldn’t listen. She pulled out a leash and said I couldn’t stay there any longer. I bit her several times and ended up peeing on myself as I growled and cried! She didn’t understand that she was separating me from you! She took me against my will and we drove off! I was so sad because I knew you were going to be worried. We ended up at her house.
I kept screaming hoping you would hear me but you never came. I vomited because of my nerves, feeling so sick. I kept telling her I had to go back because you were going to think I abandoned you when you saw I wasn’t there! I, who love you with all my heart and soul have not stopped crying since we separated a few days ago. I want you to know, that I would never do that to you.
I don’t know where you are now or why you stopped the car and left me there. Surely you had something very important to do. Can you come to find me now, mommy?
Today I ate because my tummy was hurting. I also slept on a very soft bed. And by accident, I also wiggled my tail a bit. I’m so sorry, please forgive me. She’s just being really nice to me. She said I could stay forever. She’s calling me Savannah, but I already have a name. When you pick me up you can tell it her. You’ll see how surprised she’ll be when you explain to her that this was a big mistake.

We would like to invite you to the farm. 809 Townsend Rd East Hodges SC. We honor Joe Mann our founder of Big Oaks Rescue Farm with a fund raiser for his beloved rescue. January 28 is Joe's Birthday. Mary made a promise to Joe to keep the rescue going and to care for and find homes for horses and other farm animals in need. We need you help. We invite you to come see the animals and bring some type of food, hay even a bag of carrots or treats. Come see what we are all about and see the need. FB friends I'm trying to raise funds for Speak for Animals. We are getting so many calls regarding multiple cats and larger colonies that need vouchers from us! Please consider a small donation! The cats need you and thank you!!

We need your help!! We get calls from all over, Pickens, Spartanburg, Ware Shoals, Greenville, Laurens, Gaffney for help with feral cats. We are trying to offset the cost of surgeries and setting a goal of $1,200. The calls keep coming in and your help will allow us to continue to give out vouchers which will improve the lives of cats that have to live outside. Prevention is better than destruction!

UPDATE: We are taking a large number of the dogs that did not get fosters yesterday to spay and neuter tomorrow. We will still need fosters after their surgeries. Please be patient with us if there is a delay before we contact those of you who volunteered to foster. Thank you so much for being willing to help out.

Folks, PLEASE stop breeding Pit Bulls. If you show me your backyard Pit Bull puppies, no I will not say they're cute and yes I will delete you. You are part of the problem the rescue community has. Makes my stomach turn! The number of them in the shelters everywhere is astronomical and so many are being killed daily. Perfect, sweet, loving dogs killed because space ran out in the shelter where humans let them down and dumped them.

This photo was posted from a scene from an Atlanta shelter. This is the ONLY way they can slow down the kill rate. They are forced to house 5-6 dogs together in one run and hope for the best. The only way for them to continue helping? They need fosters! Please head to houndsinpounds.com to read about their foster program and fill out an application.
If you are in the Atlanta, GA area, please go check out the dogs at Fulton County Animal Services (their page link is posted in comments). 934 dogs entered the shelter just last month!

Please pray for my mom and her little Peyton
God says where 2 or more are gathered he will hear our prayer. If you believe this PLEASE say a prayer for this little dog his name is Peyton Manning and he is really sick. He is having seizures and I'm physically carrying him in and out to use the bathroom. He has a urinary tract infection and then the vet ran blood test and his ALT was so high they could not get a reading on it. He is anemic and some of the other blood test were high (CREA, BUN, MPV and PDW. The vet is setting up a abnormal ultra sound for further diagnosis. I love this little guy, so PLEASE say a prayer for him.

I have been made aware that there are people on FB looking for "bottlefeed kittens" to feed to snakes. Newborn puppies have been targeted in the past as well. Some of these people are in rescue groups. If you hand off bottlefeed or small kittens to someone else, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE follow up! Find out where they live, ask to stop by and check up on the kittens. Make it plain up front that you will be doing so before handing them off. Ask them up front or stalk their profile and posts to make sure they don't have snakes. I know snakes have to eat too, but they sell frozen rats at pet stores for that purpose. People doing this are just trying to feed their expensive pets for free - and for the thrill of watching them stalk live prey.

My little Roe Roe will be leaving me to join his new family at 2:30 today. I am snuggling with him before he leaves me. I have been a foster mom to many but it is still emotional saying good bye. I am going to miss him so much! He warmed my heart and opened my heart when I also needed it the most too. We were both grieving....
My dad who had passed away & He was grieving for the owner who died after caring for him for 12 years.
I am going to miss his little barks that he does as he walks through my hallway or the smiles he gives me and even the late night treats he likes. He will be going to an amazing home and be so loved. I have tears in my eyes but my heart is full of love and excitement knowing my little Roe will be so loved. ❤
