So Alana and Mika are doing very well! They’re off to a great start in their upland training, very birdie on walks, no squirrel left un-pointed. They’re working on their intermediate level obedience training and being social with their classmates at Petsmart. They love walking through Lowes, Academy and Hobby Lobby & seeing live bands with the parents at our local breweries here in Greenville. They know when we go out they have extra chances to get treats and sometimes pretzel bits. I am passing along their message to their brothers and sisters, “Woofy Bark bark hoo woo!” Licks, paw paw 🐾 and bottoms up wag time!
They’ll know what it means 🥰🐾💕

Ellie (was Rose) Pupdate

Rose (now Ellie, or affectionately known as Smelly Ellie and Ellie Bean 🤣) continues to do great! She gets plenty of play time. She enjoys playing soccer and squeaking her toys, and is an eating machine! 🤣

It’s such a joy to see her growing up with such a fun and loving family! 💕🐾

Otter (was Bubba) has been doing great and is just the happiest little puppy! He loves crinkly and squeaky toys, car rides and bath time! He’s also learned to walk in his shoes so he doesn’t burn his little puppy paws!

Sunday was Henry’s (aka. Sir Henry McSnuggle-Bottoms) big day! He’s found his forever family! Now he has two sweet human pups to play with! The minute he met the family it was a perfect match! Henry’s hugs, kisses, romping and wiggle bum welcoming the final family (this go-around) to the MHPups crew!

Everyone is Home! We did it! Stay tuned for Pupdates on this litter’s littles!

Saturday was Belle’s big day! She has been matched with a wonderful family in PA. This couple has given their love and time over the years by fostering 26 animals. We were touched that they chose sweet Belle to keep as their own. As we watched her grow we saw Belle’s calm and gentle spirit blossom, just like her mom. We hope she will be able to help other fur babies along their way.

This was Grayson’s go home day! He’s now a Texas pup! He will be helping run a ranch, hunting birds and playing with his forever family! We’ve been blessed to meet and match our pups with such wonderful homes! We WELCOME another to the MHPups Family, Congratulations Grayson!

Week 10.5 Pupdate
Everyone had a growth spurt this week!
Henry-12.4 lbs
Alana (the pup we’re keeping)-12.4lbs
Belle-14.2 lbs
Grayson-15.4 lbs

Big News:
🐾Grayson was just reserved by his forever family. We’ll be making preparations for him to go home.💕🐾

Belle and Henry are still looking for forever families. (The Ginger Snaps)

Clicker training for all pups is going well. They have come, sit & up mastered and are currently learning shake. This weekend we’ll be bringing out the agility equipment. Just some small jumps and the tunnel should be a good starting point. I’ll try to get some videos.

Potty training continues to improve from morning to evening each day. We’re using kennel training to facilitate that.

These little babies continue to be such a blessing! They learn so fast! It’s fun to watch.

Week 9 Pupdate: the pups got another outdoor space!

Clicker training is a go! And we all know how to come and sit!

We are training our humans to know that wiggles mean potty outside. They mostly get it.

The boys are walking straight and confident as they are growing muscular in the shoulders.

Belle is just the sweetest! She’s also become preoccupied with the cat and follows the poor thing around.

Sometimes it’s hard to know just how much exercise is good for a young, energetic pup. This is especially true for working/hunting dogs that as adults are kept at their athletic peak. Remember, that puppies are still growing & too much exercise can damage joints & ligaments! General standard is for each month of age they can enjoy 5 minutes of exercise like walking or hiking. So at 2 months, 10 minutes is good! But I’m not a healthcare provider so read up & as always ask your vet! 🙂

7 1/2 Week Pupdate:
Oh wow, these little ones are So Playful! They’re learning to navigate, climb, wrestle and are just enjoying growing up. I see such a difference in their coordination and awareness. As soon as they get out of the kennel they look around and it’s nose to the ground. So cute!

We have sweet little Bubba going home this weekend. So happy that he’s placed a great home!

Week 7: Pack-a-lil-Pup

Week 6 Pupdate!
🐾”Weez beez grown-pups cuz weez eats Kibbles now like Mummy!”🐾
Yes! We made it to dry food and the washing machine survived!
They just realized they can jump in the last couple days… popcorn puppies 🍿
These little ones are getting bigger & stronger each day! Everyone’s first vet appointment went great and their report cards will be included your pup’s pick-up packet.

Morgan’s Peaceful Sky & Maximum Resistant - Bios

The Dam, Sky is 3.5 years old, orange & white, 40 lbs.
We’ve hunted over her in SC for quail and in Ohio for pheasant the last 2 years. She’s been handled off foot. She has great composure in the field, runs at a medium hunting distance and holds her points. We plan to trial the pup we keep from this litter.

The Sire, Max is 7, tri-color, 60 lbs.
From: Sunrise Setters in NC.
Max has hunted ruffed grouse, woodcock, chukar, hun partridge, pheasant, and Bobwhite quail. From NH to MI to SC. He's been handled off foot, atv and off horseback.

These little ones are so cute and curious! Five week old Energizer-Puppies🐾

These beautiful English Setter puppies are being raised in our home, very well socialized with people, cats and other dogs. Superdog Training in first 3 weeks so used to being handled and very aware of surroundings. Up to date on vaccinations & treatments.

***Five Weeks old *** English Setter Pups- both parents and litter are Field Dog Stud Book (FDSB) registered, coming from a hunting field line. 3 generation pedigree posted but 5 generation pedigree available on request.

We expect the pups to be between 40-60 lbs. All pups are well socialized with people, playful with liter-mates and mother. Will have been treated for worms and have 6 weeks vaccinations.
