Looking for ways to keep your pup active, even when it’s paw-sitively freezing outside? We asked our NewDay Vet Care team for some tips as we go through this cold season!
❄️Bundle up you and your furbabies appropriately and enjoy some walks outside (even short walks will make all the difference)
❄️Playtime is still possible: pups love to play, just make sure to base how long they can handle the weather off of size and breed of your pup! (did you know huskies can be outside in snow for 30 minutes to an hour on average??)
❄️Cuddle up and work their brains: Puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and lick mats are a great indoor activity that will keep you and your babies warm and get their minds working too!

Be sure to encourage your pup to stay active in the winter months, for their physical and mental wellbeing! s
