We are jumping up and down, screaming with joy over here!! Dakota has been found! He has been missing for 21 months!! We were notified by the microchip company that he was picked up today in Virginia.

Sweet Nancy is still looking for her forever family. Could that be you?! She was rescued from the Rocky Mount shelter in April 2018, and she is doing great in foster care. She will do even better in her forever home where she doesn't have to be rotated for her attention as her foster family has personal dogs. She was heartworm positive treated via slow kill treatment, on Advantage Multi monthly, spayed and UTD on vaccines. Estimated birthdate 3/29/16. House-trained, crate trained, knows sit and shake. Great with people and has been great with the foster families kids. No dogs and No cats with Nancy. She prefers to be the only furbaby to have all the attention. Loves toys and attention.

Nancy baby has been in Rescue since April 2018. She is still searching for her forever home! We have faith that her perfect for her family is out there! She has yet to even have her first meet and greet! We love her and would definitely keep her ourselves but we have multiple dogs and I know she deserves to be the only furchild where she can get all the love for herself. I know it makes it harder when they don't care for other animals and have to be the only animal but there are many homes out there that have one animal at a time. It's amazing to me that this sweet soul has been in Rescue since April 2018 and still searching for her forever home! We have faith that her perfect for her family is out there! She has watched almost 50 dogs come and go from our foster home since she has been fostered by us since intake! She has yet to even have her first meet and greet! We love her and would definitely keep her ourselves but we have multiple dogs and I know she deserves to be the only furchild where she can get all the love for herself. l know she's not the "perfect" that some people look for just because she doesn't care for other animals but she is to us and will be absolutely worth it for her perfect for her family! Petey is still in search of his forever family. He is a male Bully mix, approx 7yrs old, and 45lbs. Petey was saved from a shelter on his last day. He was heartworm positive and his teeth were really bad his treatment was sponsored so he could be saved. Petey was scared of everything when he was first saved he is now loving life with his wonderful foster and her personal furbabies. Petey is still a little timid around new people and loud noises but he is doing better each and every day. Petey is not high energy though he loves to play in the yard with his fosters furbabies. He is also good with children. Petey is fully vetted neutered, microchipped, utd on shots, and is on flea and heartworm prevention.

Jerzey(formerly Poppy in rescue originally) is back in rescue due to no fault of her own. She was adopted as a puppy in 2019. Was thought that she would grow to be beagle size but she exceeded that and her first adoptive family wants what's best for this sweet girl. We need to find a forever family that has more room for her to be able to live and run. A home and family with a fenced in yard would be wonderful. No apartments. She is a 67 pound Foxhound/Lab Mix, female, up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped and on flea/heartworm preventatives monthly, house trained(she does dribble if she gets excited or nervous), and crate trained. If she would be the perfect pup to complete your family please complete your application today!
Friendly, sweet, energetic and playful, shy at first but warms up quickly, loves attention, treats, and is a wonderful car rider.

Macie is a 5 year old, 56 pound Boxer/Bulldog Mix. Her three babies have all found homes over a year ago and now it is her turn! She absolutely loves to ride! Needs continued leash training as she likes to pull when seeing other dogs/squirrels. Macie is fabulous in the house and does not need to be crated. She would love a fenced in yard so she can run and play. She is beautiful, smart, silly, energetic, cuddly and what more could you possibly look for in your furbaby! Good with dogs and kids. Not good with cats.

Just a friendly reminder.
Please keep your furbabies on heartworm preventatives! It is so much easier on them to prevent heartworms than it is for them to be treated for them.

We are all stronger together! The Pantry is always happy when we can share the wealth with other animal welfare organizations!

Thanks to a generous surplus donation, we were able to help out some of our community partners with cat & dog food during this difficult time when many organizations fundraising efforts have had to be put on hold!
