APBT (Cardi) and a Chihuahua (Meyah)... supposedly considered the two worst breeds, one being the most aggressive (chihuahuas) and the other being considered one of the most dangerous (APBT). The Chihuahua is our newest addition. And they get along great.

Set your pets up for success not failure. Noticing subtle signs and cues is key. It's taken me years of observing to pick up on these subtle signs. Did you know that just because a dog is wagging it's tail doesn't always mean it's friendly..? When you first meet a dog do you smile? Did you know showing your teeth (aka smiling) is a form of intimidation in the dog world or in their language? Which could trigger a bite or a dog to feel intimidated resulting in a negative reaction.. It's very important to know these details. Dogs know body language by instinct, they don't know "sounds" (aka verbal commands) by instinct. So often times I'll train in silence with no verbal commands at all. Want to learn more? Contact me.

Less than two weeks after getting her and training heel, stop, and sit.
Reminder she barely knew sit when we got her. I'll post a new video soon of her progress with no collar, no leash, and limited verbal commands.

I've heard a few stories of dogs being scared of fireworks and running away. We can train them not to be afraid. Saving them from injury or death.
