It’s been a busy few weeks on the road. OMI Summer Sunsation, NOQHA Summer 6 pack, and IQHA State Show were all great shows. We have several new teams this year and everyone is making great progress.

Team Flat Ridge hopes everyone had a very Merry Christmas with family and friends! We spent the day in Tampa on the water with Maxwell Show Horses!
We are ready to kick off the Gold Coast tomorrow with the Amateur Showmanship!

Finally getting around to making a Madness post. Congrats to all of the Flat Ridge team on a successful show. Thanks to SOQHA for putting on another great year of the Madness.

Barn help. 5-6 days a week, mornings preferable. Must be 18+ and have some horse experience. Duties to include: cleaning stalls, lunging/saddling horses, grooming, sweeping and general farm chores.

The Flat Ridge team had a great show at the Madness. Everyone came home with points and at an event of that size and caliber thats a victory in itself. Congratulations to Tina Kern and Time to Flatline on winning the L1 amateur w/t trail circuit. Tina also had good rides in the horsemanship and pleasure. Shelton also placed in the very deep green/jr trail. Hailey Thornton and When it comes to luck were circuit champions in the L3 amateur equitation and finished qualifying for the world show. She also picked up points in the showmanship. This young horse has come a long way in a short amount of time her future looks to be bright. Terri Tisch and Only in my levis brought home points in the Select equitation and HUS. They also placed well in the trail in horsemanship. Yoder also had some great goes in the senior trail. It was a big show but the whole team came ready and we had a great time. I am proud of all the hard work everyone has put in to get to this point.

Another good weekend here at Flat Ridge. The lounge and office are just about finished. The whole barn is really starting to come together. Also want to welcome Jackson aka Best to Be Boss to the barn. Hailey and I are very excited for this colts future. Look for Hailey Thornton showing this 3 yr old in the Amateur All-around events. Big thank you to Liz Flohr, Donnie Recchiuti, and Vicki Gordon for allowing us to purchase this special gelding.
