Momma can’t stop foraging even if we’ve been living in nonstop rain and staying at a hotel. She made Katydid and I stop an URGENTLY NEEDED WALK to sn**ch this off the ground. She didn’t even poke with with a stick first. I mean, the big dog HAD A STICK but nooooo… she just picked it up and SHOOK IT!
Someone please send help. And bones. We are out of bones!

Granddaddy is in the hospital. The hündchen and I are very worried about him. His blood sugar is dangerously low, his cardiac enzymes are very high, and they will be starting with a thorough echocardiogram this morning. Granddaddy is the reason I’m named Tucker. It’s in his honor. He is my Knight in Shing Armor—“knight” is what “Ritter” means.

We are all very worried bout him. Catherine the Dream and Archduke Fredrick are both reading to have “pointed conversations” with stuuuupid humanz in white coats. Poor Momma is beside herself. I can feel her fear and helplessness and frustration even on this side of the rainbow bridge.

Welcome to Richmond. I’ve only been a couple time but this is where Momma’s heart calls home. It’s where she spent Christmases and thanksgivings and new years days growing up. It’s where her “heart is buried” in the city her Granddaddy called home, where she was born, and where her happiest memories happened.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨: The Mauldin Police Department has arrested Darren Kyle Baer, 51, address unknown, in connection with a double homicide on Ashby Park Lane earlier this week. Baer has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of possession of a gun/knife during a violent crime. Baer was apprehended in Easley with assistance from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office and the Pickens County Sheriff's Office (SC).

Background:

On Monday, October 23 at 6:34 p.m., MPD received a call requesting a welfare check at a home on Ashby Park Lane. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found two deceased individuals inside the house.

On Tuesday, the Greenville County Coroner's Office ruled both deaths as homicides. On Thursday, the coroner's office identified the female victim as 69-year-old Janice L. Casey. The male victim has not yet been identified pending notification of next of kin.
