As Halloween approaches, keep the spooky fun for the humans and the scary far away from your pets!🎃🎃

3 essential tips to keep your pets safe this Halloween:

🍫 No candy for pets! Chocolate and xylitol (found in sugar-free treats) are highly toxic to pets. Keep all goodies out of reach - and watch those sneaky paws!

👻 Costume caution! Not all pets love dressing up. If they do, make sure costumes fit comfortably without restricting movement or breathing. Safety over style!

🏠 Stress-free zone! Trick-or-treaters and doorbells can overwhelm pets. Set up a cozy, quiet space where they can relax, and make sure they don’t dash out the door.

166+ total items of donated foods for the pets of North Carolina!!!❤️❤️❤️

We spent yesterday afternoon loading up our FIRST load of donations to be taken to the town of Black Mountain. We are overwhelmed by the amount of items that were received.

We are still taking donations until end of day today! Another truck load will be taken sometime next week. This weekend will be spent matching every single donation that was brought in. Thank you for everyone who brought something in, donated cash, sent Amazon packages and Chewy packages, etc.🫶🏻

Ambassador Animal Hospital is hosting a food drive to help those affected in North Carolina by Hurricane Helene!!

Starting today until October 18th, we will be collecting dog and cat food donations. We are accepting wet and dry foods! 🐶🐱🐶🐱🐶🐱

Any and all donations that are made will be matched by AAH!

Charging into tomorrow with power and internet!!! We should 🤞🤞 be fully operational tomorrow. We are so so happy and excited to be getting back to what we do best!! We will be reaching out to reschedule appointments missed during the power outage. Please note, we will be prioritizing sick patients first.

We have power back! We haven’t assessed capabilities yet, or if we have phones/internet. But power is amazing!! We are so thankful for all the many linemen working so so hard to get things up and running again. We will update again later today, but should be able to open tomorrow!!

Due to the ongoing power outages in Greenville and surrounding areas, Ambassador Animal Hospital remains without power and we are unable to provide services for the time being. We will be in contact with everyone to reschedule as soon as we are able to. Thank you for your patience in this time of uncertainty.
