Top Holiday Pet Safety Tips:

🎁 Skip the Snacks: Holiday foods like turkey bones, gravy, chocolate, raisins, macadamia nuts, and onion-heavy dishes can be toxic to pets. Even small amounts can lead to upset stomachs, blockages, or worse. Stick to pet-safe treats!

🎄 Decor Dangers: Keep fragile ornaments, tinsel, ribbons, and electrical cords out of reach—these can be choking hazards or cause intestinal blockages if ingested. Consider flameless candles to avoid burns or fire risks.

🐾 Stress-Free Spaces: The hustle and bustle of holiday gatherings can overwhelm pets. Create a calm retreat with their favorite blanket, bed, and toys where they can relax away from noise and guests.

🚮 Trash Patrol: Secure trash bins and keep food scraps, bones, and packaging materials out of reach. Even seemingly harmless items like food-soaked aluminum foil can cause problems if ingested.

🎁 Holiday Plants: Be cautious with holiday plants like poinsettias, mistletoe, and holly, which can be toxic to pets if chewed or eaten. Opt for pet-safe greenery or artificial options.

While we’ll be closed during parts of the holidays, our trusted partner UrgentVet will be open from 12pm - 8pm if your pet needs care.

Alice needs a home for the holidays!

Alice was brought to us, found on the side of the road downtown Greenville. This super sweet girl has stayed with a few of our techs and is currently staying at Woodruff Road Animal Hospital in their boarding facility while we search for a perfect home for her.

Alice is a bull terrier, estimated around 1 year old. She has had her vaccinations, she is Heartworm negative and parasite negative. She has not been spayed yet. She is potty trained, good with other dogs, good with kids, and seems to do well around cats! She is active, loving, and her two favorite things are kisses and food!!🥰

All she needs is a bow and she’d be the perfect addition to your family for Christmas!🎁🎀

If you are interested in taking this sweet baby home for the holidays, please call us for more information!

Anderson had a mass cell tumor removed a few weeks ago at our hospital but because we could not get good margins, we are treating her with one of the newest cancer treatments, Torigen! Torigen is a personalized cancer immunotherapy that is administered as an injection and as of today this sweet girl has finished treatment day 2 of 3!

We are so proud of her for kicking cancers butt!💜💜

This handsome boy is looking for a new home! He is a 3 year old, neutered male, Himalayan (possible mix) with the SWEETEST personality!!

His previous owner unfortunately passed and was taken in by their caregiver. He did test positive for FIV which means he would need to be in an only cat household and indoor only. He could also live with another FIV positive kitty!

He has received his vaccines and otherwise is a very healthy boy! Help us find him a home❤️

He is currently staying at Ambassador Animal Hospital so if you are interested in meeting him, please stop by and you can meet him. Currently does not have a name.

As we approach Thanksgiving🦃🦃, we want to help ensure your pets stay safe and healthy during the festivities! While our clinic will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, our trusted partner UrgentVet will be open from 12pm - 8pm if your pet needs care.

Watch out for these common pet hazards this Thanksgiving!

1. Unsafe Foods - Traditional Thanksgiving dishes like turkey bones, stuffing with onions or garlic, and desserts with chocolate or raisins can be dangerous for pets. Keep those tempting leftovers out of reach!
2. Holiday Decorations - Be cautious with festive items like candles, centerpieces, and small decorations that pets could ingest.
3. Stress and Anxiety - With more guests and activity, pets can get stressed. Create a quiet, comfortable space where they can retreat if needed. Consider calming aids for your pet.
4. Trash Dangers - Food scraps, packaging, and bones can be hazardous if pets get into the trash. Ensure garbage is secured and kept away from your pet.
