Not only are we your “other family doctor”, we occasionally dabble in the extracurricular activities. This year, we will be a part of the Greenville Christmas Parade! 🎅🏼🎄
We can’t wait to see everyone downtown, tomorrow evening! Parade starts at 6pm.
We’ll have lots of candy and holiday cheer to share!

Our techs enjoyed brunch at Brashear Catering Company ! They were very lovely hosts, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Everything was delicious 🤤 Great way to start the day!

**STARLIGHT CASE**

✨Meet Wally✨

Wally thought it was a good idea to eat a sock and scare his family!
His x-rays showed a foreign body that wasn’t making its way through his GI tract after being hospitalized and on fluid therapy. Wally was then scheduled for surgery to avoid further complications. Dr. Judd was able to remove a sock and a couple of other odd objects.
Wally came back 1 week later for a recheck and is doing fantastic!

**STARLIGHT CASE**

✨Meet Weasley✨

This 12 week old kitten was found in bad shape. He wasn’t bearing any weight on his front left leg. X-rays revealed he had a fractured elbow!
A referral with our orthopedic surgeon for repair or amputation were his options. His owners elected amputation and the rest is history.
Two weeks post-op, he came in for a suture removal and is doing fantastic! He may be a tripod now, but that doesn’t slow him down! 🧡

✨Meet Penny✨

12 week old Penny came in for coughing. We took some x-rays and discovered she had eaten a staple! She had surgery to prevent further damage and was also treated for her cough. She came in a few days later for a recheck and is doing fantastic!
5 weeks later, Pretty Penny is staple free and can’t wait to get into more trouble!

About 3 years ago, Twyla was rescued after being found with an embedded collar. We had hoped she would’ve found her furever home after she recovered. Months turned into years and still no one was interested in her.
We didn’t know it at the time, but she had already found her home, with us! She must’ve forgotten to tell us!
We made the decision to adopt Twyla a few weeks ago, but we can finally make it official!

***FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED**

Benny is adoptable via Abandoned Pet Project. He has been hoping a human will claim him for his entire life. He was a street puppy tossed out with mom and his 5 littermates at 10 weeks old. He is the goodest boy. Loves other dogs, walks beautifully on a leash, house trained, crate trained, good with kids and cats. He’s slow to warm up to new people but is a gentle soul and just needs a minute to trust. He’s almost a year, neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is sponsored so all he is missing is his person. Please share and consider a trial foster situation if at all interested. Breaks my heart no one has wanted this boy. 💔

We had the privilege of being invited to Commerce Elementary School for Career Day this morning! All the students and staff were very kind and asked great questions! There’s definitely future veterinarians and/or veterinary technicians in Commerce 🐾
We’ll see y’all next year!
