Let me start by saying I appreciate everyone who reached out with kind words this past week.

I'm reopening appointments this week and will begin reaching out to everyone who inquired recently.

I will be taking a good bit of time off during the next several weeks so my available appointments will be limited but I will try to get as many dogs groomed as possible.

Again thank you all for being patient with me during this time and your continued support of my grooming buisness.

I have had several people message me over the last few days regarding scheduling appointments and I just wanted to put out an brief update on whats going on.

Over the weekend my family lost our deeply beloved brother. I am still dealing with alot of unknowns at the moment. We will be traveling home to California in the near future to be with family.

I am putting a temporary pause on scheduling appointments until I know when we will be traveling. Please be patient with me during this time. I should have more information within the next few days and will update everyone accordingly.

❤ We have a friend who is rehoming a very sweet husky boy ❤

"Are you missing something in life? Do you feel lonely? Do you wish you had a fury animal to hold and lick your face? Is your sibling eclipsing you with their accomplishments? Are you wearing lace up boots but just realized the arch of your foot is itchy? I can't help with the last one, but I may be able to help you with the others.

Kurbee is in need of a new home. I found him roaming a park in Richardson on 8/20/2023 and I've been fostering him ever since. He had some missing hair and a skin rash when I found him, but since then he has recovered and his hair is growing back.

Breed: Malamute Husky mix
Gender: Male
Weight: 54 lbs
Gender/Age of pet : 6 - 7 months
Rehoming/Adoption fee: $700 (this is to cover his vet costs)
Location: Richardson, TX
Spayed/Neuter: no
Shots/Dewormer: up to date on all shots
Info: Great with most dogs. Crate trained & potty trained. Very sweet and cuddly to all new humans. He is treat motivated and responds well to obedience training. He plays great with my 2 year old JRT. He needs a new home with an owner who can give him plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He hates to get a bath so good luck there.

It's official!! We are back open and grooming!!
I can't begin to thank all my wonderful clients who have been so patient with me during this much needed break. We've spent the last few months in California surrounded by family.

Sadly due to personal emergency I will not be able to accommodate any grooming appointments through the rest of the year.

Why are regular grooming appointments so important???
Regular grooming every 4-8 weeks helps keep the coat clean and tangle free. Any mats found are usually easy to brush out and remove
When dogs, especially those with curly coats, go longer than 2 months between appointment they run the risk of developing tight mats that are not going to brush out. Those coats require a shave down and a complete restart
Now is the best time to address any tangled coats. If a short cut is required it allows us enough time to regrow some coat length before the cold weather rolls in
Summer will not last forever!!

I work with a wide variety of pups, but a large portion of them are senior pets
Occasionally they have physical limitations that might may grooming more challenging
Rocco is one such senior who has a bad hip which causes standing for long periods of time very difficult
So rather than fight with his physical limitations we spend the entire appointment laying on the ground
Rocco was such a sweet boy through the whole process and really seemed to enjoy his summer haircut ❣
