SO, I went to visit Nala on Sunday and what an improvement. I would almost say she had done a 360. What progress she has made. She was out in the big fenced in area with the small Yorkie whose name has slipped my mind at this posting. But none the less, she was off leash and we played Ball. She would chase the ball retrieve it and bring it back and get a treat from me. So sweet. When we got ready to go inside she came to Amy and she got a leash back on her and we went inside. Once inside we played and she was just wonderful. She has never been around cats as we have seen and AMy has seen. She got popped by Cracker one of the kitties in thehouse. But I beleive she is leaving them more alone now. She is very curious which is understandable. She is doing wonderful!!!!

Welcome to all who will come to this page . This page was began for NALA. BARK Animal Rescue got involved when NALA was being held in the local Police Station for 10 days for a scuffle with another dog in the household she was living in. The end results put NALA in lockup and never to see her owner again. Nala is a Dalmation/Amercian Staffordshire Terrier Cross. She is 2 years old. BARK knew she didnt deserve what might possibly happen and began the effort to help her. BARK posted numerous posts looking for help , ANy places that could help her were contacted with nothing. But one individual replied to BARK and that was all that was needed. NALA would be safe now. Her journey to a new home where she would be safe and she would get the help she needed had begun. She is now in a Foster home where she is beginning to make progress and baby steps. WE couldnt be happier for her. Sometimes a chance just has to be taken. So... Follow her very own page and see updates on how she is doing as each day passes. BARK is also taking donations for her vetting including spaying, her Training which will not be free, and anything else she needs. If you want to help contact BARK for more info .
