Please make time for the Southern Goat Producers meeting on Tuesday evening March 19 at 7:00 pm. at the Clemson Extension Office in Greenville.

It’s going to be quick and easy to learn how to check fecals under the microscope. Dr. Peteroli will be there to walk us through it.

Save a vet visit - we will also have a “goat chat” discussion which should be very interesting ... got a question? we’ll answer it for you.

If you have a goat you’re concerned about why not bring a little bit of fresh p**p from that goat… You could collect it anytime Tuesday for it to be fresh enough to check - the lab results will tell you which parasite you’re dealing with. Need an oocyst (egg) chart? We will have one waiting for you, along with several links and information.

Split Creek Farm had a goat stolen today! Please share!

Little OLIVER IS HOME! He was dropped off part way down the farm drive just a little while ago. He is very hungry but seems to be in good enough health. THANK YOU ALL for your shares, prayers & concern. Your support means so much & we are thrilled to share this happy ending with you!

LATEST UPDATE: We've spoken to the Clemson Police Dept. who said that there is no reason for us not to share the vehicle description & tag number. The teens who stole our goat were driving a gray/silver 4 door Lexus sedan with a Georgia tag EAD 3883.

We appreciate your continued engagement through sharing, praying & wishing us the very best. We will keep you updated.

UPDATE: We have no new news on little Oliver but have had someone offer a REWARD for his return. He can be dropped off at the farm should you find him or, if you are uncertain about the farm please just drop him off at any local vet or even someplace like PetSmart. He is only a week old & does need special care.

We had a goat kid stolen this afternoon. Two teenage boys driving a larger 4 door sedan asked a few questions about what goats eat, bought some milk & then grabbed this kid & ran. He had just been disbudded & castrated.
