Dog licensing season is coming to the end save your wallet and buy your dog license before the price goes up. You have until January 31st to buy your dog license without a penalty. Remember all dog 3 months of age or old MUST be license by law. You can buy your dog license at Ansonia- Auto Parts, Arcanum Veterinary Service, Patty’s IGA in Bradford, Greenville Ace Hardware, Auditor’s Office, Farmers State Bank in New Madison, Harry Birt’s Store in New Weston, Osgood State Bank, Versailles Ace Hardware and Darke Country Animal Shelter. You can also go online to www.doglicenses.us/OH/Darke to purchase your dog license. After January 31st State of Ohio imposes a penalty taking dog license from $22 to $44.

Daisy is learning to walk on leash and doesn't seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Daisy is sweeter than pie! Daisy loves attention and will be you best friend with just a few treats. Tanner's owners told us that he is great with people, dogs, crate trained and housebroken. Tanner is a little shy here at the shelter but does warm up over time. Tanner love to cuddle in your lap.
