We’re seeking compassionate and skilled Pet Bathers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to our furry friends.
Duties:
- Clean and disinfect kennels and bathing/grooming areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Handle and care for dogs of all sizes, including heavy lifting and moving
- Assist with front desk service, Including checking customers in and out, booking appointments and etc
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner
- Groom pets, including nail trimming, ear cleaning, and brushing
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best possible care for our pets
- Stay up-to-date on the latest animal care techniques and best practices
Skills:
- Experience with pet grooming, including bathing, grooming, and handling
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- Knowledge of animal behavior and welfare
- Experience in the pet care industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with a variety of dogs
- Familiarity with animal care and handling techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for animals
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional care
- Experience with pet bathing and dog handling is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain a clean and professional appearance.
