🌈The pain of loss is real. As each person travels through their grief, we remember the companionship and comfort they provided to us. Make Your Cat’s Carrier a “Home Away From Home"
To help your cat become comfortable with the carrier before the checkup, leave it in a room where your cat often spends time. This process may take some time, so be patient.
By doing so, it will be easier to get your cat into the carrier when it's time for the appointment.

Greenville County Animal Care is now operating the shelter today, Thursday, August 8th on an EMERGENCY INTAKE ONLY basis for all dogs 35 lbs or larger.

We are asking for those who can come to come foster or adopt and keep additional pets out of the shelter unless it’s a true emergency as we are over capacity!⁠

Open your home and hearts to adopt or foster a big dog! This not only helps de-stress the pet to be out of the shelter, but allows us to open up much needed space for other animals in need! ⁠

Adopting is the best way to keep a pet in need out of the shelter for LIFE! Come visit our shelter from 12-5 PM, Monday-Saturday , and our adoptions team can help find the perfect match! ⁠

When you find a lost pet there is so much you can do before ever bringing them to the shelter!
