Today, we had the privilege of spending time with our friends at for their fundraiser to support their Angel Fund and local rescues that have been affected by Hurricane Helene.

We met , Hendo Dogs, Blue Ridge Animal Shelter, and and smooched a bunch of pooches and a couple cats.

And….the winner of the raffle for a free wellness screening ultrasound is….
Joshua and Squirrel!

Dr. Aldridge will get *down* to the bottom of your beloved pet’s issue. Here, he is partnering with in Greenville performing an emergency pericardiocentesis (removing fluid from the space around the heart). ❤️‍🩹🐕

Part of what “Partnering to Improve Pets’ Lives” means to us is providing affordable preventative services. At Sojourn Vet we are proud to offer screening ultrasounds to healthy, mature pets with the goal of finding disease in earlier stages, when intervention may be more successful.

Thank you to Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital for having us out to do an abdominal ultrasound! We were also lucky enough to have the sweetest patient, Riley, who did excellent for his exam. 🐾🩵

Magnolia Veterinary Hospital provided us with some of the sweetest patients the other day🥰 We stopped by to do a couple abdominal ultrasounds and got to meet Athena & Bruce along the way. They both did amazing for their imaging!

Today we got to visit some great clinics. First stop was an echocardiogram 🫀 at River Oak Vet and afterwards we got to stop by and see our friends at Ready Vets and their brand new clinic🏥! Meeting new people and building relationships with your family vet is the best part of what we do!

Out and about in Asheville today! We had an appointment for an Echocardiogram 🫀 at Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital then got to stop by and introduce ourselves to some more clinics including Haw Creek Animal Hospital!

Today after appointments at Martin Veterinary Services and Pickens Animal Hospital we were able to stop by and meet Dr. Eaves at Southern Trail Animal Clinic. A brand new clinic that just opened off the Doodle Trail in Easley. Make sure to check them out!

Meet Dr. Aldridge! Our owner and Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist.

Dr. Aldridge obtained his veterinary degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), graduating with honors. He then completed a rotating internship at LSU (Geaux Tigers!), followed by a dual residency and masters program at Auburn University (War Eagle!). He has been board certified in internal medicine for over a decade and practicing in the Upstate area for the last six years. During his career he has developed a love of ultrasounds and working with the veterinarians and people of our community–both of which have driven him to start Sojourn Vet.
He and his wife, Dr. Mollie Mesman (local veterinary dermatologist) share four children, two dogs, two cats, and six chickens. In his spare time you can find him enjoying everything this wonderful area has to offer and trying to make time for yoga, gardening, and that last unfinished project around the house.
