🐾Exciting News for Canine Health in Upstate SC🐾

We are proud to be the only veterinary internal medicine service in the upstate SC and western NC to offer percutaneous ultrasound-guided ethanol ablation of parathyroid nodules to treat canine hyperparathyroidism. This cutting edge, minimally invasive procedure targets the overactive parathyroid gland, offering a safe and effective alternative to traditional surgery with less recovery time. Research shows that ethanol ablation of parathyroid nodules achieved successful resolution of hypercalcemia in 95% of dogs with primary hyperparathyroidism.

Today, we had the privilege of spending time with our friends at for their fundraiser to support their Angel Fund and local rescues that have been affected by Hurricane Helene.

We met , Hendo Dogs, Blue Ridge Animal Shelter, and and smooched a bunch of pooches and a couple cats.

And….the winner of the raffle for a free wellness screening ultrasound is….
Joshua and Squirrel!

Thank you to Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital for having us out to do an abdominal ultrasound! We were also lucky enough to have the sweetest patient, Riley, who did excellent for his exam. 🐾🩵

Magnolia Veterinary Hospital provided us with some of the sweetest patients the other day🥰 We stopped by to do a couple abdominal ultrasounds and got to meet Athena & Bruce along the way. They both did amazing for their imaging!
