eers to assist in this rescue journey and become the leader and partner for horses and humans a like. Our page gives people a chance to follow a rescue horse from the time it comes in, up until adoption. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that no one gets to see. We all care, and so many want to help, that we want to provide the details of the wonderful results that come from your generous donations. The rescue horses come to us from other rescues or we bring them in on our own. We provide the care, training, and housing for the horse and all the love and attention we can give. The Rescue covers all Vet, feed, and farrier costs thru donations. We are a not-for profit that is 100% volunteers. Our devoted trainers work for minimal charge and when there are no funds to pay them they don't just stop they continue as volunteers. Please follow us for daily postings and invite all your friends. Please feel free to follow even if you don't want to donate when the call goes out. When we send out a call for donations it will be to help pay for hay and feed or vet or pay the trainer, that works with the horse right at our farm. Total weekly donations will be posted and you will be told where the money is being spent . We want people to know what happens to their money they donate and be able to see the progress of the horse and have a part in the bitter sweet experience when a horse gets healthy and finds its forever home. There is so much joy in your heart for them and their future but a little sorrow in their leaving. But then you can help another and sadly there will always be another. So please join us in this Journey and invite all you friends and family.

WOOF WOOF Hi everyone my name is Nettie and I have been listening to all the talk about the loss of human food because of no snap program. I find this very sad . These are families, disabled and senior humans that need that help. I have heard talk of how so many are coming together to have staging areas to give out food and that is so heart warming.
I came into Jefferson County AC starved so I understand what it means to have food and to not have it.
I asked to talk to you today to speak for the animals of the humans that live with these people on snap. We are their family too. For many seniors and disabled we bring the smile to their face every day. We sit by their side when no one comes to visit. We let them know they are loved and important , we are their family. Low income families have pets also. We play with their children, we make them feel safe at night when the darkness comes , we are all family.
Please if you know of a friend , family member , neighbor that has furry family members .Please check with them . Most will use their little funds they have to feed us rather than them selves at a time when they are not receiving their snap help to feed them shelves. For some they won't have extra funds to feed their furry family members at all.
I'm asking you to please reach out to these humans to see if they need a bag of food for their furry family members, that way they don't feel like they have to give up their furry best friend so they have food.
Thank you for your time . We can all get through this together.

Are you ready for some cuteness. Just look at those faces. Rainbows Edge was blessed in 2025 with the donation of 2 horse trailers.
One of the local rescues Redemptive Love Farm and Rescue that we have networked with for years took their small trailer for repairs and was told it was time to retire it . It was not safe to haul their animals to all their events they do for children and adults. The board members at Rainbows Edge were told about this and voted to gift Redemptive Love with one of our trailers.
When we need help Redemptive Love Farm and Rescue always shows up with smiles ready to pitch in. They have taken into their rescue small injured AG animals that we are not set up for and they have shown up to help move horses needing help to safety and the care of Equine Rescues.. May this trailer bring smiles and joy to those waiting for their turn to have the animals of Redemptive Love at their event. Safe travels everyone

WELCOME HOME MYSTIC AND KIRBY your piece of heaven on earth-In the Bible, "home" represents a place of emotional sanctuary, safety, and rest, built on love and divine protection. It is a place for family, where hearts are healed and love grows. Beyond the physical structure, home also signifies a spiritual belonging and journey towards God, who is the ultimate home that offers eternal peace and refuge.

UP_DATE on Hazel living her best life at Red Bell Run.
Thank you Aunt Louise Farm for contacting Rainbows Edge about this beautiful girl. The rescue village came together and Hazel was the winner

Hazel is gorgeous, saucy, and oh so loved here at The Sanctuary. She is our smallest equine and is a Reading with Rescues event favorite. We are so grateful that Rainbows Edge Equine Transition Center was able to save her and that they trusted us to be her forever home.

Her list of medical needs is almost as long as she is tall but well managed under the watchful eyes of our Mini Heaven staff and with regular vet and farrier visits.

Interested in meeting Hazel? Schedule a tour on our website, send us a message or give us a call for details!
