This is Beefee. His human was so gracious letting me play with various poses of a ball in his mouth. Something he did to breathe better while nodding off. They just weren’t capturing his essence in a cute way like I was wanting them to. So I embraced the face only his humans could love and accepted the side-eye was for me all along, and just had to realize it was Beefee showing his pretty side!

Meet Hank! There are three things Hank loves most, his human, his bear and his grand humans! I’ve seen evidence that he FaceTimes with his grand humans and one of them might have said they are a tad more excited for a visit from the human when they bring Hank along! 🤭. Love it!

I love being asked to create something from an “idea” from a client, especially when the ensuing brainstorm we have cascades into a meaningful piece. I also love being a part of the joy the thoughtful gift bearer gives to their loved ones. 💕

This is Bennie and Brew! (Cousins to Hootie!) I love how easy it is to see personalities come through when painting two side by side. There’s usually one that’s creating adventure and one that’s along for the ride. Hope they’re humans live their portrait!

This is Hootie! This is actually my second time painting Hootie. He’s a little lighter in the muzzle this time, but still doing what ‘s do… being protective of his humans and protective of his stick. ☺️. Happy New Year Hootie!

This is Kai. This gentle giant, known for his smile is greatly missed by his humans. Our pets have a way of etching themselves on our hearts, and I’m honored when asked to portray them in a portrait. Christmas was likely sad without Kai, but hopefully they treasure their portrait.

Meet Boujee in all of her, well, boujee splendor! This sweet Frenchie has her human wrapped around her little due claw, but it’s pretty easy to see why. I loved painting all her little folds! I hope her human has a very happy new year ringing it in Boujee by her side!

One of my Christmas projects. Sadly Buck passed away this year, but now his humans can cherish him every year as they hang his ornament. I’ve done this as well for isn’t Christmases in a new home, with a watercolor rendering of the home. Hope you holidays were good!

This is sweet old Nina. Her elderly human’s friend reached out to me to paint her after she passed to cheer her human up. Such a sweet gesture. We have about a week left to get your Christmas orders in, two weeks if you’re local to Greenville,SC. Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh my goodness, is this not the cutest little thing to bring a smile to your face today? I am so blessed to have return customers who give the most thoughtful gifts when their friends are mourning the loss of a fur baby. Meet Molar Bear - I think her human might be a dentist and I bet as a puppy she looked like a little polar bear. ❤️❄️. Her picture brought a smile to my face every day and quite honestly most days a full on chuckle. I knew her portrait was ready to be signed when it did the same. ☺️

Meet Allie in her full framed glory! This sweet doodle left a hole in her humans’ hearts when she crossed the rainbow bridge, but hopefully her portrait make their hearts whole every time they see her smiling “you are my pack” expression. Love that such thoughtfulness went into a gift and especially loved when the humans sent me sweet photos of Allie’s portrait in their home. 🥰

Meet Brandy and Angel. These sweet babies were blessed with some wonderful humans whose hearts are broken over Angel’s recent passing where she joined her packmate Brandy. Their Grandhumans wanted to give a special Christmas gift…. And it was so special it came three months early! I’m always honored to paint someone’s special fur baby, but I’m especially honored when the gift giver just can’t wait to share the portrait. ☺️
