Nova is loving the water. She’s getting treats from the sprinkler pool. She wasn’t that crazy about getting in the water until treats were involved and then she was all for it! Good job Nova!
Bizzy working offleash!
In this video bizzy does awesome by holding the place command while she has multiple distractions around! Distractions being Tara holding a puppy class, and the farm animals!
Bizzy is practicing her commands this evening. She is doing really well with following commands.
Opal is one smart little girl.
Opal has lots and lots of energy but she is very obedient when it comes to what you ask her to do.
Roman is practicing the heel command. He use to pull his mom around but he is doing so much better with all of his commands now that he understands the communication.
This is Pippi. Pippi is on fire! This young girl is really good at her commands with the occasional jump. She gets excited with all of the energy she has and will jump into a sit. She’s a good girl!
There has to be some love that goes into your training on a daily basis. Some people want robots, we want dogs that know that they are loved. Yes, we make them follow through with what we ask but we also give them love as well!
Coco is practicing the come, sit, and place commands. Coco is a little reactive to other dogs so she does get somewhat anxious but she is doing very well at doing what I ask of her. Good girl Coco!
Scout has fun with anything she does. She loves to work, she loves for you to lead her, and she likes to please. That’s a pretty good dog!
This is Renny. Renny is an older Sharpei who is very nervous and it has taken us a week for her to be this comfortable in our environment. She has always stayed with family and never in a boarding type situation. She is coming around, slowly but surely. Her sister Essie which is a Cane Corso, is also here in training because Essie has become dog reactive and is jumping on Essie. Essie went through training as a puppy and is dominant over Renny, so they have to try to learn to get along. There’s 2 other dogs in their household and their parents need them to get along so we brought them in to training together. In time, I expect Renny will come around but as for now, we are just trying to get her use to us and the environment and take it slow with her until she trusts us more and then we can get to work on training.
Here are the puppies playing and sniffing things out at Puppy Class.
We decided to see how Luna would do if she got closer to the animals and she did really well and listened pretty good when she was called. She could still use a little work on that but I think she’s improved so much! Good job Luna.
Everyone, this is Luna. This little girl could jump over the moon when she first came into training, or jump into your mouth and bust your mouth. Lol
Thank goodness she doesn’t do that anymore, unless she’s absolutely excited, and you almost have to anticipate that she may very well do that every once in awhile in very exciting situations. She is a Labrador Retriever, my favorite breed so I have to let her have that one every once in awhile. But seriously, this girl has come a long way since she started her training program. She is in our 21 Day Jumpstart Board and Train Program. It won’t be much longer until she will be back at home, practicing her newly learned commands and behaviors. Good job Luna.
In this video, Dexter was tired and we had to work a few kinks out with him and his mother but in my opinion, he did awesome and I am so happy for his mom and dad. They have put a lot of work into this dog and he is doing amazing!
I think this is the biggest smile that I have ever seen on Dexters dad’s face. Dexter worked for his dad, with his mom there, at a store, off leash for the first time! That was an awesome feeling for everyone! Yay Dexter!
Everyone meet Scout. Scout is a Bernedoodledo.com dog. Thats his breeder and this lady is one heck of a breeder. She has beautiful pups and they are really smart. This one, Scout, has lots of energy but is eager to please. This is one fun little dog to train for sure.
Norman is checking everything out at Tractor Supply. Norman is in our Private Freedom Program to work on basic obedience, his excitement when he sees other dogs, which humans think is aggressive but it’s really not, he just wants to play but perception is a lot sometimes. We are just trying to teach him some commands, keep him calm while passing other dogs and trying to keep him from pulling his mom down. He’s moving right along nicely!
Look at this little cutie! Luna was one stubborn little pup when she started our Private Puppy Program. She would not get on place on that stump for nothing! Now she’s jumping on it and having fun doing it. If you want your puppy to start learning a foundation that will last for the rest of its life, give us a call. We will teach you how to have a good relationship with your dog and both of you will have fun doing it. 864-704-1418 for a free phone evaluation.
Dexter is practicing some heeling with his dad.
