Freedom!!!! These two mange girlies arrived safely today from our friends at Marion County SC Animal Shelter. They are stinky and mangey but will have the best glow up stories in no time!

Thank you from the bottom of our heart to a previous adopter Tessa Rollins, who saw our plea for transport and stepped in to help. It takes a village!

These ladies are on their way to the good life, they are Lucky Pups now 🧡💚

Our fundraiser hit $1535 online, and we have $1000 sitting in a separate account strictly for the van!!!
So that’s $2535 raised so far in a week!!! 👏💚🐕

We desperately need this van and we have to find one soon!
We will be doing biweekly transports to shelters 4 hours away starting soon and the only way we can do this is with a dedicated rescue vehicle.

There are 3-4 that we are watching closely.
There’s one locally, but they sell so fast and we can’t find one to be donated… so we’re going to keep grinding to raise the funds for it or at least a HUGE CHUNK of a down payment.

SO!!! Here goes nothing!

Honeybee🐝

This gal sure lives up to her name- she's sweeter than honey! After being found wandering the streets by a wonderful volunteer Honey has been adapting to the good life. She's found that she's an excellent cuddler, and loves to be near her people. When she isn't being a snuggle-muffin, Honeybee loves to be a goober and play! She's been so brave as she navigates her new life, and is already mastering her training!

Need some extra love and snuggles this Valentine’s Day? P. Thomas is your guy. He loves his people more than anything in this world. He will do anything for a snack and some belly rubs. Speaking of belly rubs, be careful walking near him because he will stop and roll over just to make sure you see his belly to scratch it!

While he’s a young pup at 1.5 years old, he’s super chill and just wants to watch tv and cuddle. He also loves to be outside roaming around and sniffing all the things! He loves all animals, but prefers another dog his size or would be perfect as an only dog.

Happy FRIDAY!!!

Van update!
We’ve raised right at $2000!!!
I went and talked to yesterday to see if we could find something local (because y’all) and they’re looking in to some options of a few vans nearby.
Right now they are all around $39,000+.
There’s one available TODAY at $25,000… 🫣

I know the right one will pop up when the time is right!
It would just be so great to get our van before things go nuts in the Spring.

So, for 💚FIVE DOLLAR FRIDAY 💚 we’re just going to put out in the Universe things fall in to place for our transport van, maybe our amazing followers want throw in $5 to help, maybe grab a T shirt on the Swag Shop to contribute, or call in $5 to our vet bill at .

Hi, I’m Bitsy!

I’m a sweet Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix, and I’m looking for my furever family. My start in life wasn’t easy, so at first, I wasn’t sure how to accept all the love people were offering. But guess what? I’m learning to trust, and I’m starting to realize just how wonderful love can be!

I’m a bit shy at first, but once I get comfortable, I promise I’ll show you just how playful, protective, and loyal I can be. I love kids — they make me feel safe and happy! I also really, really love food (especially cheese!) I might be big, but don’t be fooled—I *still* think I should sit in your lap whenever I can. And yes, I’m that girl who acts like she needs to be carried to the car. It’s just a little stubborn Pyrenees thing, I guess!

Im ready to give my heart to a family who’ll love me for who I am. I promise I’ll show you how much love I have to share! If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loyal companion (who might insist on sitting in your lap), I just might be the girl you’ve been waiting for.

We hear these things ALL of the time.

Our rescue is composed of foster families that come from ALL walks of life.

Some of us are poor.
Some of us are rich.
Some of us are busy with kids.
Some of us have no family other than each other.
Some of live in apartments.
Some of us have acres of land in the country with tons of animals of our own.
Some of us have no other animals.
Some of us have jobs that require us to travel across the country.
Some of us work from home.
Some of us are married.
Some of us are single.
Some of us have medical issues.
Some of us are healthy as they come.
Some of us do a lot to volunteer.
Some of us do a little.
All of us choose to volunteer our time and our hearts.
All of which is so important and helps save dogs.
And more than EVER before, we need YOU.

The purpose of these photos is to show you that every type of person involved in the rescue world, we are all unique people, we all come from varying types of households and all walks of life. We all can help. And we all can save lives.

And that is the beauty of rescue and volunteer work - all kinds are needed. Our unique foster and volunteer families allow us to save all different kinds of dogs.

Meet Edda!

She's a lovable little snugglebug who's stolen our hearts! Edda has made herself right at home usually curled up next to someone. This adorable pup is looking for a forever Valentine to shower with affection - and she'll return it tenfold!

Edda gets along swimmingly with her canine companions, despite their initial aloofness. She's quick to learn and responds well to cues, slowly winning over her new siblings. If you're ready to add a dash of love and joy to your life, Edda might be the perfect furry companion for you!

She is 10 weeks old, is crate trained, and is working on potty training. We know her mom is an Australian Shepherd but not sure what dad is! What we do know is that she's a professional snuggler and will give you all the kisses you could ever want!
