It is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to the Poe Puppies! I chose to name these sweeties after Edgar Allan Pie’s story characters in true spooky me fashion 😝 We have four females and two males and 6 bundles of sweetness! Pepper is doing a phenomenal job taking care of her babies and I can’t wait to share more of them!

Still here and still pregnant 🙃

Day 1,946,882 of Pepper being pregnant. 🤣 She has stopped eating (yesterday she took an entire day to eat her bowl of food and today she hasn’t eaten at all). For those who have never whelped a litter, that is a great indicator that she is close to delivery. Though, with Pepper, she seems to be on her own timeline 😅 We are keeping a very close watch on her and everyone is very ready to meet these little babies she has in her belly. Everyone say a quick prayer that tonight is the night!

Still no babies and Pepper has decided that the air mattress should be her bed. After a bit of a stand off she reluctantly went to her whelping box. But now I’m being stared down and I think I better sleep with one eye open 🤪 PS- anyone who has said that 24 hours after their temps drop means babies, clearly hasn’t met my dog 🤣 Must be that Great Pyrenees block headedness.

Happy Friday, friends! While many of us have dogs that are bred to be in the cold weather, there are many of our furry friends that aren’t able to sustain themselves in these temperatures. Just a friendly reminder to those that have animals what to watch out for whether your pet is able to be outside in this weather or not! Stay safe and warm everyone!

I love what I do and I LOVE getting updates of the babies I have delivered! This sweet baby was delivered to Michigan several months ago and I got this text today from her amazing Pawrents!!

“MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone .
4 months ago, you brought me to MI . My parents renamed me Susie. They love me so much. I now weigh in at the vets 20.9.
Our laps got small for her so she stretches to hug us. She has moved in to our hearts 💕 I was worried she wouldn't have enough coat to go outside but she loves the snow and looks forward to getting towel dry. Susie has been a blessing answered.”

This young lady was surrendered to a kennel I work with and she was to go to her new home tomorrow. Unfortunately that family decided they didn’t want her either. This always breaks my heart for these babies, since all they want are people of their own. It started out months back, when this would happen, I would buy the puppy a sweater. Today I called it a feel better sweater and I just created a whole thing for my business 🤣 These babies deserve so much and I am always happy to give them little things while they’re in my care. Sweet Cora, I hope very soon I will be delivering you to your new family. Until then, rock that feel better sweater like the cute little badass you are!

I am not a dog groomer, but I am a dog lover. This sweet girl was in need of a spa day to get her undercoat detangled while she is waiting for her forever home. So I took the job!! After four hours she is bathed, ears and eyes cleaned, nails trimmed, hair trimmed and all tangles brushed out! She is silky smooth and now enjoying a rest with my daughter after her eventful day!
