We are temporarily closing our doors as we transition to a family of 5 & get ready for a move out of state. As such, we have sold all of our rabbits. We are more than happy to assist with any questions regarding the raising of Silver Fox rabbits.

Poppy (Ragnar x Silvermist), blue doe born 9/13/21 & Conejo (Alfred x Poppy), lilac buck born 9/7/22 are staying together as a breeding pair.

We are down to just one breeding pair, but won’t be breeding them for a little while yet, since we are only 6 weeks out from full term with baby #3!

Alfred & Iridessa, and Pretty Boy & Tinker Bell went to their new home in Spooner, WI as brood stock. They will be missed but get to stay together and start a new adventure.

I know I haven’t been very good at posting updates for a while, other than regarding rabbits going to new homes. It’s been a tough pregnancy: 28 weeks! Will be posting available rabbits soon! We have a few more scheduled for pick up this weekend.

Just did nightly feeding/check and found another (4th total) underdeveloped and half eaten kit from Dessa. She’s acting like she’s not done. Probably be more by morning.

Sorry for the long post. Dessa is due the 19th w/ Alfred babies. Unfortunately, when I went to feed this morning, I noticed blood and 3 underdeveloped, dead kits… she made a beautiful nest and pulled a bunch of fur, but I’m not sure she’s going to end up having any surviving kits. This is her 3rd pregnancy, 2nd failure. Seems she was a 1 and done mom. She was so great the first time around. Everything was perfect. But then she delivered too late and now too early. She doesn’t seem like she wants to do the mom thing again. We are very disappointed.

Eeyore (blue buck from RS5) & Nyx (black doe from RS5) picked up transport this evening with Glory Be Transport. Nyx is headed to her new home in ND & Eeyore is headed to his new home in NE!

Leo & Theo, two lilac silver fox bucks from Silvermist x Alfred, went to their new home today. They get to stay together and loved on as pets. They will be 9 weeks old tomorrow.

Silvermist x Alfred kits are 7 weeks old!!! They are by far the sweetest temperament litter we’ve had so far! They all come rush over when I open the gate to feed them! They all love pets!

We were growing concerned about Dessa’s well-being since she still hadn’t birthed any kits… but all is well! She is kindling right now!!! Fur has been pulled and there’s at least one kit birthed in the box… giving her some space to finish. Will have an update later!

Dessa is still very pregnant. Could kindle at any time though. Today is day 31. All is still good. Can see fetal movement in her belly on the sides.

Two weeks old tomorrow & out exploring!!!

Silvermist’s & Alfred’s babies 🥰 Runty black is still holding on 🥳

Here’s the newest little bunch from Dessa & Loki! They are almost a week old! Dessa is such a great mom & super chill about me checking on her babies. She is our first raised here, so she has known us her whole life!

RS5 is 2 weeks old, eyes opened, and has started exploring a little outside of the nest.

RS5 is almost 2 weeks old already!

RS5 progressing nicely! Silvermist is such a great mom!

RS5 - 4 days old!

RS5 just born! 5 black, 2 blue. 1 blue is super tiny, though, so it might not make it. Hope it’s just a runt and not another failure to thrive (FTT).

RS4 (Ragnar/Silvermist litter 4) is 1 week old! All 8 are doing great! Silvermist is such a great mom! 🥰

We have 8 new babies from Silvermist & Ragnar! 4 black & 4 blue! Two were outside her nest, so I added them to the bunch. They looked perfectly fine (1 of each color). 🥰
