This precious little girl , for whatever reason, was trying to survive without mom. She made her way to me last night. I did all I could do for her including giving subcutaneous fluids, which by the way was not an easy task, even though she cooperated better than expected. This morning she was given fluids again and taken to the Janet Swanson Wildlife Hospital at Cornell University where she will continue to get care. She weighed in at only a little over 6 pounds. Keep fighting little one!

I picked up this beauty in Rexville the other night. I could tell right away he wasn't feeling good at all. He had been in the same spot, out in the wind and rain for several hours. Early the next morning he hitched a ride to Cornell. He had a badly broken leg at one time that healed facing the wrong direction which caused him to drag his foot and it became mangled. He will have that leg amputated and if all goes well, he will go to the Abbe Freeland Sanctuary for some tlc.

These sweet babes will be ready for new homes on Sunday, 10/4. Approximately 11 weeks old. Weaned, eating hard food, and dewormed.
