Good afternoon! I know it's been a while since sharing, but wanted to post my policies again to give everyone a refresher. Also a cute pic of one of my babies ;)
Please read through before your appointment.
Payment- Card payments only, cash or checks are not accepted.
Current Vaccinations- Owners certify that their pets are current on the rabies vaccination, which is required by Indiana law.
Cancellations- Last-minute cancellations will be charged a 50% per pet fee. Please give at least 24 hours notice. We send reminder texts the day before to help avoid this issue. This fee must be paid before another appointment is scheduled and does not go towards the service price.
No-call/No-show- If no notice is given prior to the scheduled appointment time, it will be considered a no-call/ no-show appointment. If this occurs, all future appointments will be canceled and you will be removed from the client list.
Drop Off- Please be on time for your appointment, as our schedule is disrupted when a client is late. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments if you are more than 10 minutes late. We appreciate a courtesy call if you are unable to keep your appointment, which allows us to rebook that time. If you have to be rescheduled, a 50% per pet fee will need to be paid before rebooking.
Pick up- Please pick up your pet promptly. You will receive a call or text when your pet’s groom is complete. Any pets not picked 30 minutes after groom completion may have fees added unless other arrangements were discussed at drop off. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP EARLY FOR PICK UP. Once your pet is aware of your presence, it may not be possible to safely finish the groom.
Ears- Ear cleaning and plucking is included in the groom, however plucking is by request. Ears will not be cleaned or plucked if an ear infection is suspected as this can cause more issues.
Matted pets- We will do what we can to save as much fur as requested. In the event that your pet is excessively matted we will have to cut the fur short. When the fur is packed to the skin it can be painful for your pet to remove. We will do everything we can to make the experience as stress-free as possible for your pet. Please understand this can be traumatizing for them and irritation can occur after the grooming. Extra charges will apply for matting.
Medical Problems and Senior Pets- Occasionally grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming. In the best interest of your pet, we request permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment should it become necessary at the pet parent’s expense.
