“Wait!!”
Let’s talk puppy grooms
Puppies need time to acclimate to grooming. Similar to human babies, a puppy can be easily frightened. The tools that groomers use aren’t quiet and have vibration. That can be very shocking to a puppy. In order to create a positive association with grooming, we do a “puppy groom.” A puppy groom typically includes a bath, dry, nail trim and FFP (face, feet and potty patch). It might seem that nothing was completed during their appointment, but it is more about the first experience for the puppy. Some dogs only need one puppy groom and some need 3-4. Each baby is different. The goal is a positive experience to start their many years of spa days. 🥰
