We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent people—of diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and walks of life—who were taken from us in an instant, leaving behind grieving families and shattered communities. Alongside these human lives, we also recognize the animals, especially the heroic rescue dogs, who worked tirelessly and often gave their own lives in the aftermath to search for survivors and bring comfort to responders. Today, we pause to reflect on the loss, the resilience of those who survived, and the enduring legacy of those who sacrificed so much. Their memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Hello my name is Bama! I am a 1.5 year old male neutered shepherd mix. I weigh 45lbs and I am looking for a new place to call home! I am up to date on all of my vaccines, I am house broken and have even done a 6week training program!

Unfortunately Bama does not do well with cats and would need to be placed in a dog only home. Bama also has not been around many other dogs so owner is unsure if a multiple dog home is for him.
