We’re coming up on the 1 year anniversary of me opening SilverScale Exotics Sanctuary!

Let me start off by saying WHAT A YEAR! We’ve helped so many reptiles, fish, different species of crab, and even small animals like guinea pigs (we even have 3 that will be coming to us pregnant very soon so we will be birthing babies!), we’ve helped bunnies, mice and rats!

We attended a total of 7 shows this year and met so many new people!

I want to take a second to show my true appreciation as I’m going on 1 year of running and operating MY OWN business/rescue and I wouldn’t have even been able to get started without you guys pushing my name out there to people ❤️

I couldn’t be more grateful to each and every person who trusted me to take in and rehab their animals and I’m beyond blessed to have been able to work with so many different species of exotic/farm animals ❤️

Most importantly thank you to each and every individual who trusted not only me but also my amazing animals this year and overcame fears at our shows ❤️

Thank you to each and every one of you, we truly wouldn’t be where we are today without you guys ❤️

Here’s to going on 1 year of being an official business/rescue with many more long successful years to come 🥂🎉

Updates for Momma’s Ball’s!

Due to some setbacks we will be opening in April of 2025 instead of January!

With that being said having this extra time gives us more time to get our rats breeding, get more of a variety of pet mice ready, a variety of ball python babies hatched, and the store completely set up!

We are VERY excited to get some babies hatched and ready to sell ☺️

Tons of new cuties here at the sanctuary!

We are working on adding a fuzzy section to our education shows!

Not only will you get the chance to handle some really cool reptiles but now you also get to hang out with bunnies, rats, mice, guinea pigs and so much more! ❤️

We’re so ready for March to be able to start hosting shows again! We hope you guys are as excited as we are!

Hi everyone! We have some amazing news to share! We had a wonderful adoption yesterday of one of our Bearded Dragons! Her name is Luna, she is an Adult Bearded Dragon believed to be about 2 years in age and she had been with us for 6 months! We recently had someone reach out to us in search of an adult bearded dragon with nice tame temperament and Luna was definitely ready for her new forever home ❤️

Yesterday we waved her off to her new home with a wonderful family and I couldn’t be more happy!

She seems like she’s pretty happy herself 🥰

We will be posting a list of rescues who are ready for adoption very soon as well as the link to our adoption application! ❤️

Hi everyone!

We are so sorry we haven’t updated our page in a while! Between moving and fully unpacking the sanctuary, working out some adoptions for some of our rescues here at the sanctuary, and taking in some new fuzzy exotics as well as planning to host a Friendsgiving this Friday it has been ALOT!

we will be introducing some of our new rescues starting tomorrow and Thursday we plan to share some information for a few things!

1. We will be making a post with our 501c3 number and our busienss license attached to pin to the top of our page. I’ve been flooded with people asking for the number and it is ALOT to get back to so I feel 1 public post should cover all of that for everyone.

2. Momma’s Ball’s is set to open in JANUARY!!! So we will be sharing some information about that and some updates for what morphs we will be hatching to sell ❤️ I will also be posting pet mice and rats once they are available so everyone can reach out to my business partner if they see a pet rat or mouse they would like information on.

3. We will be selling feeders come next year for pet snakes! So if you or someone you know would like more information on that please let us know!

4. Starting March of next year I will be hosting shows at the sanctuary once a month. This is to help get our rescues/ hatched babies attention and possibly even adopted.

5. I no longer travel long distances for rescues. You must be able to meet me in the Greenwood SC area for us to take in your baby.

Be on the lookout for a mass information dump on Thursday and we’re glad to be back!

Since most Trunk or Treating events are shutting down this year due to Hurricane Helene we will be giving out candy here at the sanctuary on October 31st 2024!

I plan to start giving out candy around 8pm and will keep giving it out until our doorbell stops ringing or we run out of candy whichever may happen first! 😊❤️

If you’d like to stop by and say hello to some cool animals and get some candy just reach out to us for the sanctuary address!
