Not be confused with our Rosie! They look like sisters.

This spunky and playful little lady is ready for her forever home!

Rosa is about 5 years old and is medium in size. She has had a neglectful life but that all changed since coming to the rescue and being cared for by her wonderful foster (thankful to you, Deb!).

She has the cutest ears and nose and well everything! 😍 We're not sure how she does with cats but think she'll do fine with another doggy friend. Of course, introductions with any animals in the home are a must.

Please don't forget about little Simba. 💝

This little senior who's around 11 years old and weighs only about 5 lbs is still trying to find his forever home after being discovered alone in an apartment after the death of his owner. 🥺

He is a sweet, older guy who has been through a lot, on top of grieving. He just needs a nice, quiet, calm home that doesn't have children, or a lot of people coming and going to live out the rest of his days. He's an old man who just wants wants to get his belly full, cuddle in on a warm lap and be loved. He may do well with another older, calm doggy friend but prefers to be left alone.
He is on heart medication, which runs about $50 a month.

Sadly, Simba did not have a safety net after his owner passed away. He was found at the rental unit scared, and alone with a severe urinary tract infection. No one would take him and he was going to be put down until Heartbeat 4 Paws took him in.

❤️‍🩹 SANDERS & PHILLY ❤️‍🩹

Both babies are back at the rescue to get some rest and TLC.

Sanders neuter procedure went well.

Sweet old Philly also had a recheck on his ear (poor guy - prolonged horrendous ear infections have made his ear barely treatable) and a consultation and test done to see if he might be a candidate for a kidney disease - clinical study. We'll see. 🙏

A favorite person of ours, Kathy Jetter Grider lost a favorite person of hers. 🕊️

Kathy's mother passed on 12/22/24 after dealing with significant medical issues. ✝️

Kathy and her mother Charlene participated in craft fair events at Southpointe Healthcare Center where Charlene resided. They enjoyed making and selling jewelry/items and then graciously giving the proceeds to Heartbeat 4 Paws. 💞

Heaven has a new angel and our hearts are heavy for our friend over the loss of her incredible mother.

Grief can last a while and is different for everyone. Kathy...we are praying for you and your family. 🙏

This handsome boy isn't all looks, he has brains! He has completed training and is a young, smart, playful, good boy who needs a loving home.

Riggs wants a home with a fenced yard and an active family. Maybe even another doggy friend. He hasn't been around cats in a while but he may be good with them also! 😺

SANDERS ❤️‍🩹 Making progress - Little by little. 💓 🐾 The medicated baths, medicated ointment, antibiotics, gauze wrapping and surgical suit are helping. 😍 He will be losing more fur. As you can see in the bottom left photo, he still has a lot of skin inflammation but he's doing so much better than when he was first admitted to the veterinary hospital, a little over a week ago. 🤕 Thank you for supporting him and following his story - improvement. 💞

Blessed and thankful for these precious, little turkeys and so many more that have and will come through the doors of Heartbeat 4 Paws. 🦃🐾 So appreciative and grateful to our supporters. 💞 Wishing everyone hope and health on this Thanksgiving. 💓
