The cutest Sassy Parade crew you ever did see! At some points yesterday I was in tears, just overwhelmed with emotions walking in the parade, seeing the kids eyes light up with joy when they saw the horses. We're ready to host our homeschool families again for this magical time on the farm with Santa! 🎅 Enjoy toasty s'mores around the fire while children wait to deliver their decorated wish lists to Santa. Each child will go for a fun ride on one of our "Jingle Horses" then learn about their care and brushing, and visit with other farm animals. WOW! 💞 What an AMAZING turnout we received from the homeschooling community today! We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your support for coming out and learning about all our programs, and meeting the sassy crew! 🐴 We are SO thankful for everyone's patience today, as we had a much much larger turnout than what was registered for or that we expected! So we thank y'all from the bottom of our hearts for your patience. We hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather, scenery, and met some new friends during your visit! (And got to pet a pony or two 💞🐴) Our winners are announced for the two raffles! Congrats to Eve Brown for the one hour riding lesson, and Tonia Rankin for the one hour mini party! 🎉 Whoo hoo! Thanks again to our amazing helpers, and to the homeschool community for a super fun morning, we hope y'all had as much fun as we did meeting you!

Hands On Learning 🐴 💭🍎 Our Horse & Homeschool had their first class last week and we learned all about horse nutrition and the food pyramid! The kids then got to mix the grain up to feed all the horses. Fun!

Our Story

Welcome to Sassy Stables! We are a small family owned stable in Greer, right in the heart of Greenville County, South Carolina. We specialize in custom riding experiences for children, beginners and experienced equestrians. We are a unique facility, offering only one-on-one riding experiences in a very laid back and fun hands on learning environment. Owner and instructor, Kristin Ahlum has been running this unique and fulfilling business for over ten years now. We are proud to call Greer our permanent location and home, on 5 acres of picturesque acres with magnificent mountain views. During your visit you’ll be greeted by our beautiful and friendly horses, which we use in our unique riding program. We also offer birthday parties, photography packages, and much more!
