All of our hearts from Rescues Unlimited are breaking for Karla and Charlie's loss of this handsome and truly special pup named Boulder / Bo that they adopted from us. Due to a fast moving cancer, Karla had to make the hard decision to put this precious boy to sleep last night. Do you all remember Bo, he is the Great Pyrenees that had been turned loose in their community because it had been said he did not perform his duties, that he preferred to be among people instead. Bo did love people so much and loved connecting to anyone that he came in contact with. He just had the perfect personality and had been such an amazing friend and pal to all of us, and to especially Karla once he started living on their ranch !! Bo not only loved Karla very much, he also loved Pooh so much that he carried him around all over the ranch and made sure he did not go to sleep if he did not have his Pooh Bear. Tamara found this huge Pooh Bear at a thrift store that had been 60 miles from us, but she drove there just to pick up this huge Pooh Bear so Bo could have it to take to his furever home at Karla's house. Bo, all dogs are amazing to us, it is just that you had that extra something that all of us are going to miss. It is so precious that you got to know real love and being amongst people that truly loved you and you got to know real love in a real home before you left us much too soon. God must have needed a very special boy so he asked for the very best to come be in heaven by Him. See you after all of us cross that rainbow bridge. This rainbow picture is taken out to Karla and Charlie's ranch here Bo is going to be burried. Love and Miss you that is our true Pooh Bear Bo !!!

Dale Roger Hanna
May 6, 1950 - June 18, 2024
Dale Roger Hanna, 74, of Gregory, South Dakota, died on June 18, 2024, in Burwell, Nebraska, where he had been residing recently in the Community Memorial Health Center.
Dale was born in Deadwood, South Dakota, on May 6, 1950, to Alvin and Opal (Samdal) Hanna, joining older brothers Jim and Lynn. Tragedy struck early in Dale’s life as his father passed away when he was only one. In his youth, he spent considerable time with his family in the Hettinger, North Dakota area, and was very close with his Samdal aunts, uncles, and cousins. He remembered these days fondly all his life, often sharing stories of his wild adventures, especially with his cousin Keith.
During junior high, his family relocated to Denver, Colorado, where he attended East High School and made lifelong friends before joining the Army. He served honorably in Vietnam, earning a bronze star. Upon leaving the army, he returned to Denver, where he met and married Pamela McManus. They relocated a few times before eventually settling in Spearfish, South Dakota, where their daughter Sarah was born. Although Pamela and Dale both remarried, they remained in contact for the remainder of his life.
Sarah could not have wished for a more dedicated, supportive, or loving father than Dale. Dale combed and braided her hair every night in her childhood as he was the only one who could do it without pulling too hard. He used the time spent driving her to various activities to ensure that she was exposed to good music, playing Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, and Credence Clearwater Revival in the car. Most of all, Dale always encouraged Sarah to enjoy life, have fun, and not take things so seriously, a lesson she will try to carry on in his absence.
Dale met the love of his life, Marie (Brozik) Palmer and relocated to Gregory, South Dakota, where they made their home. While working for the Rosebud Sioux Tribal Community SWA, where he met three of the best coworkers he ever h
