Who's the first dog into the pond now that it's thawed? Of course, the gimpy 10 year old with osteosarcoma (bone cancer). And this is after she ran the distance of about a block because she wanted to chase the geese away. She definitely goes through life heart first.

Living with six Leonbergers (aka the house hippos) requires a LOT of grooming time. Apparently, that wasn't enough, I added in a daily swim which requires a quick blow out afterwards to partially dry and prevent matting. Look at these good dogs literally lining up to wait their turn. They do this every day.

Back to the litter updates. I'll be doing one a day. This is the gorgeous Ruby, who was a gem from the start. Clearly this was taken shortly after her arrival home. She lives with Lucy, a half-sister from a previous Ambergait litter. As a breeder, it's always wonderful when a family comes back and I was lucky enough to have 2 puppies going to homes who already had an Ambergait baby. Lucy loves her little sister!
