PET OF THE WEEK!! This week, we shine the spotlight on Maddi. Maddi is a big, lovable wiggle worm that craves love and attention. While Maddi and her brother enjoy roughhousing, Maddi sometimes fails to recognize that her friends do not always want to be tackled. She is thrilled when toys are scattered around and feels an overwhelming urge to play with each one. Let's show our admiration for Maddi, our pet of the week. 🐾

PET OF THE WEEK!! This week shines brightly on Mako. Mako is a stunningly handsome boy who exudes confidence. He acts big and bad but reveals his playful side with the zoomies after a bath and a love for extra snacks. If Mako could roll his eyes, that would be his signature expression of endearing humility. Rusty signed up for food puzzles during his stay.

Our standard puzzle toys were with other pups or getting cleaned, so Rusty had to figure out how to get to his snacks around a Benebone.

After a couple minutes of pushing the bowl around and tilting his head to get to the snacks, he finally figured out he could hold the bowl down with a foot and use his nose to move the toy.

Good job, Rusty!

We are heading in to year four of LCBR here in Grenada! We are so thankful for all of our clients, new and old.

We do not want to start the new year by upping our prices to make up for the increased price of doing business. Instead we are going to offer more opportunities for your pups while they are with us! We will be posting our event calendar soon, and will provide a preview of January's Treat and Activity of the Month. These enrichments will only be offered once a week each to a limited number of dogs.

January's enrichments include
-Treat of the Month: Stuffed Apples (cored apples filled with peanut butter and treats!).
-Activity of the Month: Bubble PAW-ty! (Bacon dog bubbles to work the mind through scent and visual enrichment)

Looking ahead to February:
-Treat of the Month: LOVE-ly Barkuterie (Valentine themed snacks including sliced bell pepper, berries, and melon plus heart shaped treats
-Activity of the Month: Teeters and Tunnels (Build confidence while exercising by climbing over seesaws and crawling through tunnels)

Love this clip of Remi figuring it out. He pulled the carrots out to crunch immediately then had to chase his apple around to get all the peanut butter before lying down to munch his apple.
