This week we will be introducing Kayla. She has been a handler, front desk attendant and social media coordinator with DogTown for just over three years. She is working on her bachelor’s in animal science and psychology at Oregon State University and only works in person during the summer. Kayla also works part-time at a humane society helping animals find homes. We’re pretty sure she’s an animal lover. Her favorite thing about dogs is each of their unique and interesting personalities. Kayla loves our puppy S.T.A.R. class, she adores watching the puppies grow and learn behaviors that set them up for success later in life. Her coworkers love working with her, she’s thoughtful, hard-working and fun to be around. In her free time, she enjoys going for hikes, stand up paddle boarding, pickle ball and loves going to concerts. Her perfect weekend would be spent outside, hiking, being on the water or going camping. She doesn’t have any of her own dogs but does have a beautiful betta fish named Flamingo. Flamingo lives a glorious life and is the best fish Kayla could ask for.
