Jennifer's brother Jeremy started renting a property in Boring, OR. Jeremy didn't realize there were many cats residing on the property and they were not spayed/neutered. Having used FCCO's services in the past, Jennifer reached out to work on getting some appointments scheduled. These are just a few of the 23 cats from the colony that were spayed/neutered and vaccinated today. While there are more left that are still scheduled to come in, this is a huge start to getting this colony under control. Purrs of thanks to Jennifer and Jeremy for their dedication and for caring for feral cats!

Carmel is a female dog who is a little shy, but very sweet. She has known some hard times, but is looking for a new life with an adoptive family. Carmel came to us very skinny after nursing a litter of puppies, and she will need to continue gaining weight. Bring on the movies and snacks! Carmel has met other dogs, and was appropriate- ignoring them at first but getting bouncy and excited later on. Complete an adoption application and meet with an adoption counselor about how to welcome Carmel to your family.

♦️Jerome Horwitz, famous for playing CURLY in "THE THREE STOOGES", was known to all as a protector of dogs. Curly's contract with Columbia Pictures included a clause that allowed his dogs to accompany him on the studio lot. Columbia limited it to no more than two dogs at a time, this due to the puppies' unplanned on-camera appearances from time to time. You can still see those surprise dog on set invasions in the first few short films. Typically surrounded by various dogs, Curly was known to come home with a stray dog ​​and foster it until he could find it a permanent home. When the Stooges were out on the road, Curly took it upon himself to find a new home for at least one stray dog ​​in every town they visited. Curly is estimated to have saved and rescued more than 5,000 dogs in his lifetime. This makes him a man ahead of his time, with a very admirable concern for man's best friend.❤️

Message from Finder: We found a lost pet ad saying his name is Max and he went missing on 6/11/22 from Vancouver but we never got a response from the owner. Max is an escape artist and I don’t know if we can keep waiting to find his owner. We need help locating his owner.
