Happy Friday, everyone! Let’s introduce another amazing team member we have here at WVH. ✨

Cassie was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. After graduating high school, she began traveling all across the United States. Cassie was living in California when she realized her love for working hands-on with animals. She had the opportunity to watch her boyfriend train military dogs, and she knew she wanted to work with animals as well! Shortly after, she jumped into the veterinary world as a veterinary receptionist, and that is the position she currently holds at WVH! In her free time, Cassie loves to be outdoors and plan family outings on the weekends. She very much enjoys getting the chance to travel back home.

We at WVH appreciate Cassie’s calming and quiet demeanor. Her gentle attitude helps to keep our clients and patients feeling comfortable and relaxed when visiting WVH. Cassie is ready and eager to learn new things every day, and we are so happy to have brought her on to the WVH team!

Cassie has 3 dogs of her own - Kayla, River, and Apollo. She is pictured here with her adorable Corgi, Apollo. ❤️

Today we want to shine ✨ a spotlight on one of our own - Amy! This weekend marks Amy’s FIVE year anniversary with us at WVH. That’s a remarkable milestone, and it deserves to be celebrated! Many of you know Amy as one of our cheerful front desk staff, showing exceptional care and warmth towards all of our clients and patients. She is focused and hard-working and patient and smart! Lately, Amy has moved into a management role, assisting us with any and all of the various management duties that require a veterinary hospital to run efficiently. Her dedication to her role has proved to be invaluable to our business, and her leadership ensures top-notch care for your pets.

Good Morning!
Next week brings the 4th of July - and that means fireworks💥.
Please make sure your pets have collars with tags and a safe place where they can rest if they are scared. Also, please make sure your yards are secured - many pets are lost while attempting to escape from the noises of fireworks.
If in doubt, walk your pets on a leash to potty while fireworks are happening.

If you think you may need some medical help with sedatives, please call/email/come by SOON. We will close early on July 3rd, and we want to make sure everyone is prepared! 🇺🇸

June 2018. That was 5 years ago. FIVE!
WVH celebrates our 5th anniversary of opening our doors to serving our beloved community of clients and patients this month.

5 years ago, we started out with unpacking inventory in our living room with a 2 year old and an infant in tow. We couldn’t have imagined what the next 5 years would bring! (hello, Covid 🥴)

We have been fortunate to experience only positivity and growth since opening, and we have two huge groups of people to thank.

First, our staff. We mean it when we say that our team’s skills are unmatched. They are the cream of the crop, the best of the best, and we are blessed to say that each and every one works with us. Some faces have come and gone over the years, but each one has left a lasting impact on the success of our business. THANK YOU!

Second, our clients and patients. One of the most rewarding parts of our jobs as veterinarians is to meet and grow with families. We value each person who walks through our doors, and we know that without your loyalty, trust, and support, we would not have the pleasure of getting to treat so many animals each day. You - our clients - continue to be the backbone of our business, and we are so fortunate to have the honor of being your furry family member’s caretaker.

We are planning a fun family outing for all of our team later this summer to celebrate. Every one of us is looking forward to that day!

Thank you - thank you - thank you ALL so much for your belief in us as a business. Cheers to 5 years - and many more to come!

Bowser has been with us for a while now - he NEEDS a home! Although our cat condos are spacious and he gets tons of love every day, he really deserves more in his life. Please, please share our post, and let’s get him to his forever home!

If you guessed French bulldog, you’re right! This extremely popular breed has dethroned the Labrador Retriever as most popular dog breed! We definitely believe this - not a day goes by that we don’t have a French bulldog walk through our doors.

Bowser was brought to us after being found on the elevated expressway badly injured with a broken leg and severe wounds on his paws. Over the few weeks he has been with us, he has healed beautifully - and he is ready for a home!

Bowser is a young adult male. He is neutered and vaccinated, and all of us at WVH have fallen in love with him. He is the sweetest love with the best playful personality. He is great with kids!
