Easter Alert: Keep Pet-Safe Baskets! 🐶🐱 The typical Easter basket, often filled with chocolates containing theobromine, poses a risk to our furry friends. 🍫 To safeguard them, store the baskets out of reach and create a separate, enclosed area for your pup during the Easter egg hunt. 🌷

Leap Day Crane Count!
On Thursday, our team led by Wildlife Biologist Bethany Ostrom, observed an estimated 272,000 (+/- 43,000) Sandhill Cranes. For the third consecutive time, this is the highest weekly count on record! The previous highest February counts were in 2016, another warmer-than-average year.
You might ask... WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR PEAK NUMBERS?

Merry Christmas to all my clients and pet parents! 🎄 As the colder weather approaches and the busy holiday season is upon us, I want to encourage you all to keep a close watch on your pups and kitties. Frostbite, chocolate ingestion, turkey bones, tinsel, and poinsettias are all things that we have around at Christmas time and are harmful to our pets!

At Gretna Groom n Stay we are also aware of the respiratory virus going around our area, but we are taking extra precautions and cleaning, disenfecting, and sanitizing with a bacterial and virus killing solution.
Please reschedule your doggie sPaw day if your dog has any of the following symptoms!
Coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, not eating, or lethargy.
It is also recommended to seek veterinary attention if you notice any of the above symptoms.
