I'm proud of my Ruby! Last weekend, she was inducted into the Georgia Region NSTRA Hall of Fame. She accomplished a lot in her 12 years. Mostly, she was a thinker, never got in trouble, and let the boys think they were the boss. I could put her food bowl down and watch her walk away for a minute. No dog would get near it. She was truly the matriarch of the kennels. She was the first with a kennel inside the truck, in the back seat. The bed of the truck didn't suit the princess. I wrote several stories about her. Some dogs are a presence.
