Bermuda Square Bale Pricing Update – Effective February 9th

Due to the ongoing hay shortage in our area, we are making a price adjustment to continue bringing in quality hay. Our new supplier provides bundled bales, which makes handling easier and allows us to truck in hay from farther away.

We will maintain our current pricing through Saturday, February 8th, and the new pricing will go into effect on Sunday, February 9th:
• $12 per bale when purchasing individually
• $10 per bale when purchasing by the bundle (21 bales)

We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenges and work to keep hay available. Thank you for your support, and as always, feel free to reach out with any questions.

If you are interested in great quality, imported grass hay, we have orchard/brome 3x3x8 bales that are the perfect choice for most classes of horses! They weigh approximately 800 # and are $250.

They are high in protein and very low in sugar making them a great option for metabolically sensitive horses, horses who have a tendency to colic on bermuda, horses who need more calories than bermuda, growing horses, and horses sensitive to alfalfa.

As always, if you would like to review test results of hay, please let us know! We don’t just test our hay, we buy hay with the best results.

Important Update on Bermuda Square Bale Pricing

To our valued customers,
Thank you for your continued support and trust in our hay business. It’s a privilege to supply you and your animals, and we remain committed to maintaining the quality you rely on.
Due to challenges faced by hay farmers this past season—such as increased supply costs, army worms, increased drought intervals, and increased demand due to hurricane damages—we will be making an adjustment to the pricing of our bermuda square bales:
• Individual bales will now be $11 each.
• Pallet purchases of 12 or more will be $9 per bale.
This change will take effect on January 6, 2025. If you have previously been quoted and have a pending delivery or pick up, the sale will remain at the old price.
We have changed suppliers due to an overwhelming demand which exceeded our previous suppliers capabilities. While we were able to maintain the same quality, the cost has increased. Our new square bales weigh an average 5 # more per bale than the previous supplier.
We understand the importance of affordability and strive to keep our prices as fair as possible while continuing to deliver the quality of hay you have grown accustomed to. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Days are getting shorter and nights are getting longer and colder! If your winter hay supply is looking slim, give us a call for pickup or delivery! We now have a full truckload of orchard/alfalfa in the barn for pickup and delivery! If you have seen this hay in the sun, you know this video does not do it justice!
